Hello,
Concerns MathCad Prime 5.0
How is it possible to write a complex formula in the frame to make a plot in a graphical component.
Sincerely.
Denis
Its not sure to me what you mean with "complex formula" and with "frame"!?
Can you give an example of what you are trying to do?
Are you talking about the newly introduced disastrous 2D-plot-component in Prime 5 or are we talking about Primes native 2D or 3D plots?
Plotting requires numerical evaluation.
None of your variables (r, m etcetera) are numerically defined.
Please provide those definitions.
Success!
Luc
Its absolutely unclear which variable should be the independend one and which function you intend to plot over which variable.
But as you set Y1=1 all you would get is a horizontal line at height 1 anyway.
As Luc already said a 2D plot requires usually a function in just ONE independent variable which is to be plotted over that variable. All other constants have to be numerically defined. You may also place a function dependent on the same parameter at each axis.
Does the attached file help?
Hello, Werner,
Thank you for that answer and example.
That's exactly what I wanted to do,
But I didn't know how to define the variables with this new function.
With my thanks.
Denis
Hello,
For information, here is the origin of the formula.
With my thanks.
