Question

Trace funcition and window not working

I am using windows Vista first of all...I don't know if that has anything to do with this problem or not. But, there are several things that don't seem to be working right in my version of MathCad 14. One thing right away was when I placed and Excel 2007 component with column labels in my worksheet and redefined the properties of the labels to maker sure they were defined in my work sheet ...they were never usable. Then the execution of any loop programs did seem to either work at all or would have no output. Then I tried the debugger toggle and trace window. The trace window opens but nothing is ever in that window. I even opened a blank worksheet and copied the the trace example in the help quick sheet section. I ran the = (execution) command with debugger ...nothing. So something has got to be wrong with math cad program..right?
HEELP!....

The trace function does not work on the task in attach. But with the root function - no problem!

In Mathcad 13 was no problem with thw Minimize function!

Not only that the trace window stays empty, if I recalculate the minimize-expression it gets red moaning about "This varible is undefined". (MC14M030)

About trace function:
On my notebook (Win XP, Mathcad, version 14.0.0.163) - all is OK:

but on my PC ((Win XP, Mathcad, version 14.? I will see tomorrow) - no OK: I have an empty trace window too.

Tracewindow OK here on my notebook with Mathcad 14.0 M030 (14.0.3.332).
Maybe an installation problem?
I have witnessed quite often, that the installation routine is not really a clean one. Installing on a proofed clean system ever so often results in a lot of registry errors found by some of the common (and sometimes dangerous) registry cleaners.
