Hello,
I'm very beginner. I'm trying to solve ode with boundary conditions (see the attached)
I have an error in the unit of second b.c. (n'(10 um) = 0 cm-4).
Please help me to solve this problem.
Thank you in advance.
Hi Jun,
I will point out a couple of issues that I have noticed:
1. Your units do not match in your differential equation. I believe the right hand side should have units if (cm^-3)*s
2. You use the variable alpha in your differential equation, but you have not defined alpha anywhere. The solve block is not putting the error on alpha because there is a built-in constant alpha that the solve block assumes you're using. However, this constant has no units, and in order for your equation to work with units, alpha must have units of [length]^-1
There may be other problems, but at a minimum, the above issues must be addressed
