Hi,

can't batch print from registered Windchill (Intralink 9.1 M040/Pro/E
WF5.0 M090) server (see attached error message). I have no problems
printing from stand alone "Creo Elements/Pro Distributed Batch". Have you
been able to print from the registered server? Would be nice to know how...

You can set your output dir in "Creo Elements/Pro Distributed Batch" with
#Edit #Preferences #Directory for Output Files. In the same dialog you can
set search options for *.ttd files with your own settings. There is a
description for this in the "TOOLKIT User Guide" from the knowledge base.
Have attached an example for s/w pdf printing. The original can be found
in the <load point=">\proe\text\ttds folder.

thanks
Jan

I was able to plot from windchill but had to check the box "Save as Primary
Content for Windchill source files".. I see you are using solidworks. I
tried to convert sldprt into a stl but it wasn't possible.. I used the
SLDASM/SLDPRT 3D import. I wonder what is this ttd used on?

Thanks

Great! This works for me too.

I am using Pro/E WF 5.0 - not Solid Works. There is an good explanation of
the ttd (Task Type Definition) in the help of the "Creo Elements/Pro
Distributed Batch". I use the ttd to have black/white pdf output (changed
PRO_PDF_CD_COLOR to PRO_PDF_CD_MONO).

There is a ttd for SolidWorks import. The description tells "Import
SOLIDWORKS 3D (.sldprt) files to create Creo Elements/Pro Parts (.prt)"
and a "Export Creo Elements/Pro Parts (.prt) and Assemblies (.asm) files
to STL (.stl) facet format. Output is binary format" ttd. This one after
the other will sldprt -> prt -> stl. May be it is something for you? Don't
know if extra convert licenses are required.

Thank you very much.
