Fixed licenses not working over remote desktop connection

We need to setup remote working from home due to Covid 19. The simplest solution is to use remote desktop connections, which allows us access to all the resourses avalible when we are in the office. However the fixed licenses will not work over the remote desktop connection. This needs to be allowed at least temporarily.

All the other solutions for using Creo outside of the office have significant draw backs compared with remote desktop.

Re: Fixed licenses not working over remote desktop connection

More than likely an IT issue with closed firewall ports.

Contact your company's local IT support team.

I have used Wildfire at home over a VPN connection with no issues.

Might need Creo next week!

Locked licenses, over remote desktop connections are not supported.  For further guidance, please contact PTC Tech Support for additional guidance.

Thank you,

Hi,

1.] Maybe PTC can offer specific "Covid 19" solution to your company.

2.] Your company can move locked license to your personal computer, temporarily.

3.] You can use Teamviewer instead of Remote Desktop Connection to access your computer at work from home personal computer.
