Preview pane in Simp Reg edit window

New to CREO 2.0

Using the simp rep edit window the preview pane is unhidden/open for the first time during each new CREO session.

As shown in attached image the preview can be hidden/unhidden. Sometimes I forgets to hide it while working in a large assembly.

Of course this causes some very long hurry up and wait times depending on what was selected to be added to the new/redefined simp rep.

Is there a setting/config option that will hide this preview pane automatically?

Suppose it would help if I attached the image.

Although this will work it doesn't get around the fact that one cannot have the preview pane hidden from sesion to session.

We had the same concern. Ended up using the following setting to go back to the previous interface.

new_wf5_simp_rep_ui no
Any users that prefer the new behavior can override the corporate setting back to default. Hopefully they will fix the behavior before they take away the setting above."
