When there is a Creo license change, do I need to reconfigure CREO on all designer PCs?

Hello.

Our CREO License recently changed.

Current Situation is using Floating License and LMGRD.

Old Creo Licenses (Foundation, Parametric, etc.) changed  CREO Essentials.

So, I have to change LMGRD's License Pack.

When I Change Creo License Pack, do I need to reconfigure CREO on all designer PCs?

Hi,

if license name has been changed then you have to reconfigure CREO on all designer PCs.

Examples:

Creo Parametric (formerly Foundation XE) package

  • license name is PROE_FoundationAdv, also additional module 127 is used

Creo Essentials package

  • license name is PROE_EssentialsM

Hi, MartinHanak

Thank you for your answer.

My License's name changed. So it looks like I'll have to reconfigure every designer's PC.

Hi,

if all installations are identical then you can modify Parametric\bin\parametric.psf file in Notepad on single computer and then simply copy this file to other computers.

The advantage of using a network install. You only have to make a single change and everyone has it.
