Do you know which config caused the drag and drop issue ?  I have similar issue for a customer using CREO 10

Utilizing the same steps tfilipiak used, you can remove the options in your config.pro in order to attempt to track down the option(s)
According to About Drag and Drop, only the option autoplace_single_component is specified which would place the dropped component into an active assembly or provide a dialog box with a choice to assemble, retrieve in new window, or cancel.
