Fail to install Platform Analytics - PropertyTransformThing is not generated

Hi,

I installed the "Platform Analytics"  in graphical mode , there was no error raised during the installation.  However,  the thing PropertyTransformThing was NOT generated after the installation.  Then I checked logs file and found two kind of errors:

  • org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'mapDB' defined in class path resource (configuration.log)
  • twpas-property-transform-service:Unexpectedstatus SERVICE_STOP_PENDING in response to STOP control. (install.log)

Does anyone knows the reason ?   I've also tried install Platform Analytics in a different server , but got the same error .

------------Environment----

Windows Server 2016

Thingworx 8.5.5

Hi @seanccc

Thank you for this.

Unfortunately, for some reason, TWALogCollector did not collect the relevant data for Platform Analytics so I do not have the info I needed.

Could you try the following:

  1. Stop Platform Analytics with <PlatformAnalytics>/bin/twpas.bat stop in a command prompt as Administrator
  2. move the file <PlatformAnalytics>/workdir/map.db in a backup directory outside platform analytics installation
  3. make sure there is no more <PlatformAnalytics>/workdir/map.db file
  4. Start Platform Analytics with <PlatformAnalytics>/bin/twpas.bat start in a command prompt as Administrator

If you still have the issue could you please collect the following data:

  1. output of command %ERLANG_HOME%/bin/erl.exe -version
  2.  <ThingWorxStorage>/log folder
  3. <PlatformAnalytics>/logs folder
  4. <PlatformAnalytics>\RabbitMQ\rabbitmq_server-3.7.7\etc\log folder
  5.  <PlatformAnalytics>\flink-1.4.0\log folder
  6.  <PlatformAnalytics>/install.log
  7. <PlatformAnalytics>/platform-analytics-environment.properties
  8. <ThingWorxPlatform>/platform-settings.json

Thank you

Christophe
