Google key for Map widget

 

Hi,

How to configure custom google key for Map widget ? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Raj,

You are interested in supplying your own API Key to the Google Maps widget? If so, you will need to modify the metadata.xml file (located in the GoogleWidgets_ExtensionPackage archive) to include your API key and then zip up those files again and reimport the extension.

Hi,

Please let me know where(in which tag) in metadata.xml file should i add the Google key. Also wanted to know if by default the key added by Thingworx has any restriction on the number of locations/markers as i observe that if i add more than 140 locations Google map widget is not displayed but till 140 it displays without any error.
