ThingShape Mashup Example?

I'm attempting to create a Mashup with Type ThingShape.  Is there an example or tutorial anywhere that is available on how to do this?

You can use a Standard Mashup to use with a ThingShape, Which it's the reason for what you want to use ThingShape type Mashup?

Trying to learn the platform and what I can do with it.  Since there is a ThingShape and ThingTemplate type of mashup, trying to use them.  If the answer is to always use the standard Mashup, just wondering what the ThingTemplate, and ThingShape types of Mashups are for then.

For my experience, don't use it, will limit you on some unexpected ways, I it are there for historical purposes...
