Validation Job failed with IOException

since the last time I always get an IOException for the ValidationJob when I create a model with the analytics builder:

How to handle this?

Hi,

I have three quick questions to help me better understand the issue:

• What version of ThingWorx Analytics are you using?
• What type of an Installation is it (Windows, Linux)?
• Is it Docker Based or a Native Installation?

Its a native installation of thingworx 8.2.2-b167 and Analytics 8.2.040101 on a aws linux machine. Some days ago it works fine. Yesterday I get the same error for the Model Job. This could be fixed by restarting the microservice. This helps for some trainings but later the problem comes back. Restarting the validation microservice down not help at all.

Hi,

There is a start order for the services so that may be why restarting just the services may not be working.  Could you restart the entire Analytics server by running this command and seeing if everything starts working correctly after that:

sudo /opt/ThingWorxAnalyticsServer/bin/twas.sh start

As for the cause of the system disruptions, is it possible that there are system updates or java updates that may be disrupting the micro-services while  they are running?
