Hello,
I uploaded a .asm file on ThingWorx Studio and it was "converted" to .pvz but when I attach it in a 3D Model it simply don't show on screen. It's like an "invisible" model
Does anyone knows what is happening?
Hello Yago,
I had a similar issue with a big Assembly (it was the PTC edc world car Assembly.)
The size of this Assembly and Components is around 500 Mb.
It was taking some time to display the geometry in 3D in Thingworx.
So, at first, in Creo Parametric, I created a Shrinkwrap of this Assembly and export it as a pvz file.
It is not needed to export and load in memory, in Thingworx Studio, in the Experience, 3D geoemetries who are not visible.
At second, I switched on the Run CAD optimizer checkbox and select the low Level Of Detail.
At third, we can have a log into the log file.
It can be useful to have more details
Best regards,
Samuel
Hi Samuel,
At first, thank you very much for your attention.
I don't think that's the case. I'm trying to upload a 10 Mb Assembly.
Actually, I could only open the blue_pump.pvz (from ThingWorx tutorials) and other .pvz file I downloaded from grabCAD
Any other file gets invisible
Actually, it was a very simple problem:
I was uploading a 3D drawing that was too far from the origin point.
hahahaha
Thanks for your help
