Recovering workspace

All,

I have a user that mysteriously lost the contents of his local workspace. I looked at the cache folder on his local drive, and there's a ws.cache.551 file that's 18+Mb. I'm thinking this is the file that has all his locally modified files. I know workspaces corrupt from time to time, although it's never happened to me with Pro/E and Windchill. Anyone have any ideas, or is his work gone forever (I've already reminded him of the improtance of uploading his files).

There is a tool out there that can recover the lid files which are his modified files locally. Look up a folder or two.

You can try recovering the lid files from his cache, probably you will get his file back from cache folder. Here is the link to tool
