Does anyone have an example of how to set assembly or component appearances (preferably by name), using the VB API?
Maybe the workaround could be that you set the material of the part by vbapi, but for assembly, I don't think it is possible.
That's what I'm doing currently, but it's not reliable. The parts don't always regenerate if the PTC_MATERIAL_NAME parameter is changed.
