For customers using the Field Service Mobile Client 10.7.8, the Apple Push Notification certificates used by this version of the mobile client expire at the end of December. These certificates must be renewed annually and a patch is available with updated certificates for 2016. Please contact the PTC technical support team to receive a patch with the updated push notification certificates. If these certificates are not updated on your MIS servers before the current certificates expire at the end of January, then all push notifications to iOS devices will stop working for the 10.7.8 mobile client.
Note:
• An MIS only bounce is required after applying the patch.
• The patch will only contain updated APNS certificates and no other changes
• The files that are being replaced are found in this path MIS/WEB-INF/classes/ios/production-apns-cert.p12 and MIS/WEB-INF/classes/ios/development-apns-cert.p12
