Getting an error "Failed to return license click check" while opening Thingworx

When I try to load ThingWorx Composer on my local machine, I get the Composer splash screen and then an error pops up:

"Failed to return license click check"

As a result, I am unable to see composer and Thingworx data since this morning.

Do we have any solution for this error?

Regards,

Rahul Soni

Hi Pai,

Thank you for providing the above link. It's very useful.

Could you answer the below question and suggest any link/article. It will be a great help from your end. Thank you!

  1. What causes the disk space to increase while using Thingworx? We can look at some of the default application/monitoring loggers and set them to a lower level than OOTB values (assuming logging is the reason ).
  2. Secondly if they have a TPR/CS which talks about different set of memory settings in Tomcat while using TWX; that would be helpful. For ex: if ‘x’ no. of developers are connected or ‘y’ no. of devices are connected and monitored, value of the memory settings to be set to ‘z’ MB.

Space on the server is taken up by:

1. the model

2. data persisted in the model

3. log files

4. files in FileRepositories

As for sizing of the JVM and Server, I believe there is ongoing work to get some sizing charts/guidance onto our Support portal.

Thanks for the above information!

Logged a TS case for it. May be. It will be resolved soon.
