I am preparing a technical procedure document using PTC Arbortext and need to insert three SVG images on single page. However, I don’t see any option to adjust the height and width of the images within the stylesheet.I have tried using the <graphic> element but couldn't find a way to explicitly set the dimensions. Is there a way to resize SVG images in Arbortext using FOSI or XSL-FO? Any guidance or examples would be appreciated!

I am setting a stylesheet using the set stylesheet ACL command. Now I want to undo this association. How can I do that? I want the stylesheet to not appear in the list of stylesheets while publishing the next time.

We would like to perform some custom action (copying files from remote server) before the publishing action is performed from the "Publish" dialog box. Ho can we embed/ perform our custom actins before the publishing action takes place.

Hi, I am working on custom application for sync xml doc in our Saas application from Arbortext.- The document xml should be open by a user on web navigator, with customizations files for arbortext.- Arbortext start, user edits and saves, then a script sends to our Saas APIThe downloading and opening process should be the most easy for the user with minimal interaction.Which is the best customizations type in Arbortext for achieve the goal ? I think to use arbortext-editor protocol + custom application with jar to download the xml and cutomizations files.- We ask to our users to add our saas url in trusted site zone- My Saas application references a link "arbortext-editor" with unique uuid generated for each edition, it allows to avoid authentification system for the url.- Arbortext intercepts this link, then it calls our custom application that use a jar to download a zip file (xml + customizations + tokens authent) by http request.- User saves the document, callback function

Software Version 8.2 I'm supporting someone who uses Arbortext and they receive the following error message when trying to print to PDF. I have another person who has the exact same configuration without issue. I need to generate a table with the styler that will grow according to the count of a specific element within the document.  For example, the table with header (Column1, Column2, Column3) will have 2 rows if the content of element  EnactAuthority has 2 Identification elements within it.  It is not a problem for me to count the elements using an XPath predicate.  It's more in the way of injecting the content of the Identification elements content inside that table that is my issue. XML content : My target table withing styler : The content of the 2 rows will come from Identification/LongTitle, Identification/Id and Identification/EnablingIdentification/Ref You have been so far very helpful, once again thanks for your help community !

Is there a way to see line numbers in Arbortext Editor?I am using version 8.2.

Linked table is missing when exporting pdf. Chapter where table is linked as excel file. Table consists with descriptions and clickable page number.Compering to my colleague, we have the same settings, preferences, styler, but mine does not export linked tables.This table generator that does not work was developed specifically for our company the same goes for Styler.What could be the problem? Am I missing some additional settings?Thank you for your help.

I am attempting to add a new topic to my book map with its own unique page set. When I publish the topic to .pdf on its own, the correct page set populates, but when I publish the whole book map, this topic does not have the correct page set. Any pointers on what I may be missing? Info: I am using PTC Arbortext Editor with Styler 8.1.1.0

Used ipconfig and requested a license for one of the physical addresses.Received license from PTCAfter navigating to the license, the Licensing Error gui said, "If you need to obtain a node-locked license, your machine’s host ID is required. The host ID for this machine is XX-XX-XX-3C-7A-00.” (I put in the "XX's") XX-XX-XX-3C-7A-00 is not in the ipconfig list of laptop's physical addresses, but anyway, I requested a new license using “XX-XX-XX-3C-7A-00.”The license does not work because it is not a physical address for the machine. This also happened to another user a few years and the host ID at that time was identical to the one we are seeing now  - XX-XX-XX-3C-7A-00. Different user, different laptop, different year. PTC sent me a new license from the list of physical addresses I submitted then. Now, they are not understanding my issue and resent me “XX-XX-XX-3C-7A-00.” What am I doing wrong? 

Editor/styler 8.2   I made a foldout context to duplex the second foldout. The issue is that it keeps making a third red page.   Error says  <Level>ERROR</Level><Message>Pg 3 New page sequence not specified;used fallback 'defaultPage'. [1035] (1:"editorDom0"#{2;/}) </Message> What does it mean? I have my foldout page set      

I am trying to add header cells to my custom troubleshooting table.  I am following the tutorial in Styler help:   I add a name in the Name field, and 'Possible Cause' or '' (I tried both methods) in the XPath field.  When I click OK the blue circle spins a bit and the dialog closes, but there are no new cells listed in the Generated header cells field:     I checked the sfes, and nothing was added there either.Am I doing something wrong, or does this feature not work for some reason?  We are running this on Editor/Styler 7.1. and using DITA 2.0 as our architecture.

I was able to display my element as a Custom Table by defining Table, Row and Cells  using Arbortext Styler. But since I now need to alter the content of the cells, I tried defining Generated Cells using XPath but I never was able to make the content to show.  Here is the configuration I have : The elements themselves : Can you explain why I am never able using XPath to generate content cells, this is very crucial for me to being able to do such. I am using Arbortext Editor version 8.2.3.0 however, the contracting company used Arbortext Editor 6.0. I used the contracting company's XML to create one in Arbortext 8.3.2.0. Is there a compatibility issue with using aXML created with Arbortext Editor version 6.0 and creating a new XML version in Arbortext Editor 8.2.3.0?Is there an issue with the publishing service? I obtain the fatal error when publishing (see attached titled  image.png).  

I want to be able to set a particular font and size for the category Generated Text in the styler.  I don't see any font settings inside the window when editing the generated text.  All I'm able to do is specifying Normal, Bold, Italic and so on. Thanks for your precious help and advices.

I have applied a condition to a context of the 'p' element in Arbortext Styler. And when I point to the text in editor it highlights this context and the sub-condition correctly. But when I publish the pdf the styling defined for the condition like text color, size, indent, etc., don't reflect in the published PDF.How can I debug this issue to find out where is the styling coming from for this element and how can I change it?Here's a snap of the mentioned context and condition with the document structure in editor in the background: 

Hi,What would I need to do to be able to update the resource manager so that when I need to create a new topic and insert it into the map, my custom topic document type is available. This option should be useable for everyone. I know I would normally use the point the aptcustom environment variable to a specific location. But my custom dita doc types are stored outside of the conventional folder. Google is not turning up any results for me. For reference, I already have a custom_init.acl file in my custom folder. The path to this folder is already set in my aptcustom environment variable. So I think ideally, I would need to change something in this acl, but not sure what. All I know after this point is that I need to be able to provide a link somehow to where my custom dtd's are.
