Question

Shortcut for deleting lines is shift+F6, not just F6

Helly everyone

The shortcut to delete lines in Isodraw should be F6, this is also noted next to the command in the menu.

But instead it I have to press shift as well, which is a very long stretch for my hand. Pressing F6 doesn't do anyhing.

I already found out that shortcuts can not be reassigned

Does anyone have an idea how this is possible and how to solve it?

I'm using Isodraw 7.4

Thank you very much in advance

Does your keyboard have a different function assigned to F6? Mine has a volume down action set, so by default when I press F6, my volume goes down instead of getting an actual F6 keystroke.

My laptop has an "FN" button. Pressing FN + F6 gives the F6 command, but there's also a "FN Lock" on the shift key. Pressing FN + Shift activates the "FN Lock" so that pressing F6 will give the F6 keystroke, instead of the volume down. I think FN Lock would stay active at least until I restart my computer.

All of this is specific to my keyboard on an HP laptop, but I wouldn't be surprised if your keyboard has some similar shortcuts overriding the function keys. There may be some setting you can use to get F6 without having to press shift, but it would be a keyboard setting.

Hope that helps!
