The attached file has two functions.  The top function work but will not allow double quotes in the second column of a text file.  The second function works to do that, and it works well enough.  Was wondering if I could improve it with a TRY... ON ERROR addition?

Hi PTC Community - I have two variable quantities (Water & Ammonia) evaluated over two different temperature ranges over which only they are each valid.I would like to plot both with a common x-axis range (-70°C to +370°C), and not be limited to either the T1 or T2 (MIN, MAX) range.See how the Ammonia (pink) plot is being limited to the MIN(T1) value of 1°C. See attached. I am using Mathcad Prime 11.0.1.0. Your tips and suggestions for a fix will be appreciated. Regards,thodij

I am using Creo Live SimulateI've designed a spring and as a stand alone part has a stiffness of 56N/mm according to Creo Live Simulation. I have created an assembly with 2 of these springs in parallel on a mass of 8.4kg. I expect to get a natural frequency of about 18.4Hz, but creo simulate live is giving me a result of about 173Hz. It appears to be looking at higher order resonant frequencies and not seeing the 1st mode natural frequency.I'm wondering if this has something to do with the contacts (bonded) between parts in the assembly? What is the significance of the tolerance value in this context?I'm starting to lose confidence in the reliability of the software.

Hi, I've been using creo parametric 12.4.0.0 thinking that I was using the academic edition which I have a node locked license to use. I didn't enter this license when I first downloaded CREO and tried to use it to install CREO again in the academic version. This hasn't resulted in the academic version downloading but instead the error message that my code no longer works. How do I access my academic version? My error is I have reached the maximum number of license requests for my product, this appears anytime I try to enter my license. Please help. Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks.

As usual, PTC makes it as difficult as possible to find them.  Nice, way to go.  A simple search should find it, especially in the "Support" (LOL, as IF) section.   Anyone know where to find that PDF?   Thx.   Edit:  I FINALLY found it.  Total PITA to find.

I have a small class project.  A number of students have bright blue lines shown on parts, but I do not.  We're all in Creo +.  The lines don't appear in the part view, just the assembly.  They aren't visible sketches, and I've tried hiding all the different layers and I can't make them go away.  What am I missing?

Hello,I have a tracker with a choice field which can select 1 or many (multiple) projects as references. I want to create a report that I can run on a project to see which items reference it.  Example: Project 1 has my requirement tracker and in that tracker there is an item which references Project 2 In my report, when I look for Project 2, I would like it to return the item from Project 1.  Is this possible?

Hi everyone, I have two ThingWorx projects that depend on each other. Both i want to  import as packages into our server. I noticed the following behavior: When I reference the Thing dynamically like this, it works without any issue means package is created:   const Controller = "thingName; Things[Controller ].serviceOne({ id: 234, state: "complete", });   However, when I try to use the dependency more directly (e.g., referencing it statically without the intermediate variable), I get an error while packaging for dependency.   Things[thingName].serviceOne({ id: 234, state: "complete", });   My questions: Is there a recommended way to handle cross-project Thing references? Any insights or best practices would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  This is a screen grab from the Part Classification facet. I use an identifier of no significance when defining the nodes but the display name is meaningful. Odd that I am seeing a mix of sometimes display name and sometimes internal node name (node###). What gives? Did it just get tired and give up? Windchill 11.1 M020.

I just want to put this hear since the proposed solution in this topic didn't work for me:I needed to turn Hyper V in the Windows Features off and restart in order to be able to install and run Creo 9 on Windows 11 Pro 22H2 22621.1702 .   Unfortunately reinstalling Hyper V causes the installed Creo to no longer start!

Hi Community,I’m currently experimenting with Options & Variants to see if it could fit our company’s workflow.For testing, I’m using this setup: one Configuration End Item with a single Configuration Child underneath.So far, I’ve been able to successfully propagate parameters that are linked to option choices down to the child Configurable Articles.What I can’t figure out is how to propagate the value of a regular input parameter (for example, a length) from the parent configuration down to its configuration children.The idea is that the top-level configuration would receive one input length, and multiple configurable children would each calculate their own required length based on that value.I would then also like to use this new length in the Variant name.However, I haven’t found a way to pass that parent input parameter to the children.Has anyone done this before, or can explain the correct approach?I'm using Windchill 12.1.2.4Best regardsJustin

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: I am trying to create a report that will tell me which EPMdocuments have been created or changed in the commonspace between a given date and today. I am only interested in the latest version and only standalone models and generics (no instances).Description: I have created a report that indicates all EPMdocuments last modified in the given date range.BUT the main problem is that it isn't limited to just the objects in the commonspace. It includes workspace object. It lists objects that a user has created and uploaded in a workspace (but not checked in yet) and existing objects that have been modified and uploaded in a workspace (but not checked in yet). There are fields in the EPMdocument that would seem to allow some filtering of this, but they don't seem to be accurate, at least at the level of the last modification.There must be some way to report only on the commonspace changes, but I'm not seeing how to do it. If you now go to Mathcad's website, you'll be redirected to the Mathcad page on PTC.com. You'll also notice there are suddenly a bunch of new Mathcad pages on PTC.com that weren't there before. And you'll notice that Mathcad is a "Featured Product" and Engineering Calculations is a "Technology" on the PTC top navigation!   Yes, this is all intentional. If it seems like I've been quiet for the past several months, that's because it took a lot of work to return Mathcad back where it belongs! (And if you were wondering why new Mathcad blogs and webinars were being published to PTC.com and not mathcad.com for the past half a year, or why old Mathcad webinars are being uploaded to the YouTube channel, this is why.)   PTC.com, in terms of available technology, security, and usability, is vastly superior to what mathcad.com can offer. I am the onsite tech for an Engineering company.  I have a user who has Mathcad Prime version 11.0.1.  The install did not give me the option to install Xmcd, MCD converter.  I read the posts that the user needs version 15.0 or higher to have those features but the user says that she does not need 15.0.  She said that is an older version and she won't be able to run her files.  How can I get this feature installed?
