TriStar,  Shawn Schreckengost Topic - Assembly Flexible Components in Creo: Some Creo parts when assembled require a variation only in the context of the assembly. For example an O-ring might be compressed, a hose clamp might be tightened, or a tension spring might be expanded. While these parts can easily be modeled in the static state a different modeling approach is often required to enable variability. Whether it’s a simple dimensional change or a complex geometric change those assembly variations need to be considered. All About PTC/USER Technical Committees   PTC/USER Technical Committees (TCs) are a feature of PTC/USER that enables customers to partner with PTC to improve software.  Additionally, TCs allow PTC/USER members, with similar areas of interest around PTC products to stay connected.     Technical Committees provide opportunities to interact directly with PTC Product Management. Members can be informed on, and, moreover, can influence upcoming functionality improvements or new product offerings.  TCs have regular meetings and a TC Chair leader that helps define and lead the agenda for Technical Committee discussions.   Collaboratively, Technical Committee members decide what talk tracks or topics should be formulated into PTC Working Groups.     TCs are a great way to build your network across industry.
