Hi, I have a customer who needs Codebeamer to be deployed on Ubuntu 24.0.4.2 , and the proposed Codebeamer version is (3.2.0.2).Can Ubuntu support the Codebeamer version ?Thanks,

The toolbox “MATLAB Modelling Connector” (MMC) does not support Codebeamer Streams which is utilized by pure::Variants (pV) for product line engineering (PLE).The concept of pure::Variants is to use a “main” or “initial” stream for the 150% platform development and create a stream based of this stream for a 80% to 100% variant.Since all tools (MMC, pure::Variants and CB) are developed by PTC, the following use cases on the variant stream should be supported by MMC:Requirement is created (f.e. variant specific functionality, that was deemed to be not relevant for the platform) Requirement is modified (f.e. functionality/implementation is changing late in the project) Requirement is deleted, since it is not applicable to the variant Modifying Implementation (Moving or deleting links in the Model, without changing the requirements)I tried to perform those use cases and these are my observations. Requirement is created: MMC does not seem to support creating links to Requirements on a Strea

Codebeamer SaaS provide a Git/SVN repository as part of our subscription Or do we need to create and manage our own Git repository and then integrate it with Codebeamer?

Hello,I would like to know whether it is possible to import an XML file containing UML/SysML data into Windchill Modeler.If XML import is supported, could you please provide the steps or the recommended approach for importing such files?I have already tried importing a sample XML file, but it was not accepted by the tool. In the Import options, I can only see support for .zip and .inf file formats, and there does not appear to be an option for importing XML files directly.Could you please clarify whether XML-based UML/SysML models can be imported and, if so, what format or conversion is required?Thanks, Balamurali

I am using PTC RV&S (formerly Integrity Lifecycle Manager) Release 11.1 and DatecodeF000 We require access to PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager (formerly Integrity) Release 11.1 installation media/dev tools. Hi, I need to install CodeBeamer for a customer POC. I am looking for a stable version. Does anyone know? 

To create lower level justification we would like tofilter item in the upper level tracker select and send those item to a lower level tracker Add a reference link between lower and upper itemthe 2 trackers being already configured with a reference linkI manage to complete step one and to with the copy to function, but did not find a way to make the reference link, there is only an association link proposed

if there is any supported plugin, extension, or alternative solution available to use Mermaid diagrams within Codebeamer ALM. We would like to understand:Whether Codebeamer natively supports Mermaid or has plans to support it If any official or recommended plugin/extension exists If not, what alternative approaches or tools are recommended by PTC

Reviewers are unable to make edits or corrections to a Test Run based on review feedback, restricting iterative quality control within the execution cycle

The Test Run Review workflow follows a fixed process, offering no flexibility to customize state transitions to align with project-specific review governance.

There is no provision to surface or reference Baseline details directly within the Test Run window, making traceability and version comparison cumbersome

When a linked Test Protocol or Test Specification is modified, the system fails to raise a suspect flag during execution, increasing the risk of running outdated test scenarios

There is no built-in mechanism to filter out failed test cases from an existing test set and automatically generate a new test run for those failures. 

We would like to understand if the below requirement is possible in Codebeamer. We are creating the Test Run from the test cases, In bottom we have to select an Test Configurations.Currently it is possible to select the multiple Test configurations while creating the test run, Is there any possibility to select just one Test Configuration out of available options ?Also, Suppose I have 100 of test configurations So it is very difficult for me to view and select the required test configuration, Instead of it If we have the drop down field of selecting the Test Configurations that would have been a better choice.Is there any possibility to achieve this also ?Please refer case details 18077804 for more information 

When a Test Case tracker is created using template inheritance, the option“Make a copy of the items and link the target item with the copies” is not consistently available, and copied test cases do not retain their original status.This behavior is observed while copying test cases from a base Test Case tracker to a template‑inherited Test Case tracker The copy option “Make a copy of the items and link the target item with the copies” is not displayed.Test cases copied via drag‑and‑drop are created with status = Draft, even if the original test case is in another status (e.g., Approved). Please refer case details Case Details - 18070485 for more information 

Hi Team,We’ve just recently upgraded codebeamer and our issues numbering became very large from 40000s to1000000s. Is there a way to optimize the numbering system in codebeamer? Another option would be if there is a way to have custom unique numbering for each tracker for each project i.e. SRS-001, SRS-002 and so on instead of the i.e. SRS-1094089. Is there an integrated function to do that?Thanks,Victor

Hello Team,I have created a Test Set (Testing Cycle) containing 20 test cases and subsequently generated a Test Run (Testing Cycle Run) from this Test Set.For execution purposes, Customer would like to assign specific test cases within the shared Test Run to different users—for example:Test Cases 1–5 → User 1 Test Cases 6–10 → User 2 Test Cases 11–15 → User 3 Test Cases 16–20 → User 4Customer would like to use test set as a validation plan where they can plan the test cases an assign to the different users.Since there is no out-of-the-box functionality in Codebeamer that supports assigning individual test cases within a shared Test Run to different users, Could you please consider this as enhancement request ?Business Impact :- Currently customer having approx 100 users in Validation team and they are not able to use codebeamer as per above mentioned usecase.Priority :- High
