hello: I am relatively new to Mathcad and rusty on how matrices work within the program haha. I am trying to clamp a minimum value in a 5x1 vector in a spreadsheet i am generating for wind loads. I have a for loop  that generates a 5x1 vector for one variable  To which i use GCpnegzone4 5x1 to generate wind pressures in the following loop  Which works... however i need to clamp the values to a minimum of -16psf per code. meaning it should look like this:  the approach i have been using is taking the same for loop used for Pnegzone4 and adding a the min function in hopes that it will go by element and compare the min value and replace when necessary. However the code just reports the lowest value as show below:  Any help on how it should look like would be appreciated! my file is attached Thank you in advance!

Hello All,Currently we are using CREO 9.0 as CAD software and Windchill 12 as PDM system.We want to investigate the possibility to migrate the EPM documents from Windchill to Autodesk Vault PDM system. There are other posts on this topic which are to migrate from Vault to Windchill and based on that I believe that the migration in other way should be possible.Does anyone have experience with this? How did you manage to migrate the parameters and metadata from Windchill to Vault? Is there any tool to migrate the data? Kind regardsPranav

Hi all, My team has a mashup that is essentially a dashboard that is kept open in our plants for long periods of time without refresh. Specific details of the mashup aren't important for the issue we are seeing. After being open for longer periods of time, the mashup will crash with this error: Has anyone encountered this before or know of any way to prevent this from happening? We would like these dashboards to be open during the shifts on monitors in the plant without having to refresh due to a random crash after being open for a while. Any input is greatly appreciated! 

 Hello,I’m facing a strange problem with KEPServerEX. We noticed that some alarms are not being logged in ThingWorx but are listed on the HMI. Upon investigation, we found that the scan rate on Kepware was set to 1000 ms, and the boolean tags were changing value too quickly (e.g., 0 -> 1 -> 0 within 200 ms), preventing them from being scanned.We adjusted the device and Quick Client scan rate to 100 ms, and now we can see changes and the update count increment correctly.However, this behavior doesn’t align with what’s happening on the PLC side. When the boolean changes from 0 to 1 on the PLC, Kepware shows the value changing from 0 to 1 and then immediately back to 0. The same behavior occurs for tags with value of 1.Do you know why this could be happening?We currently don’t have access to the PLC, but it shouldn’t be the issue because both Kepware and the HMI read from the same database.Environment:PLC: Siemens S7-300KEPServerEX: v6.14.263.0, Siemens TCP/IP Ethernet driverOS

I am new to PTC but not new to FlexLM license servers.  I have one server with 3 different apps with their own FlexLM.  I have another server with just one application so wanted to install this new PTC license service on it.  I was able to get it to install and the service to start but it will only activate one license at a time even though both services are started. Is it possible to run the PTC license service along side of another application?  I found a KB that says yes, but does not explain how.  The online instructions are not working as both are conflicting with one another.

Its Deja Vu all over again. Some of my folders can get very large.  I saw in one case, that I was getting false positives where it said there were missing files but they were not.   Here is what I am running: bin/windchill  wt.fv.tools.WContentVerify -user=wcadmin -vaults=main_vault -email=me@me.org -onlyExistence Previously with my 12 system this ran without complaint. Is this an issue on my DB side or is this a tuning issue on the Windchill side? Hello Eveyone,I currently own a Kepware Siemens Suite license. During the original installation, an Administrator password was created for Kepware, but it was never recorded and has since been lost.As a result, I am now unable to make any changes to my existing installation. For example, I intend to purchase and add an IoT Gateway license, but I cannot apply it to the current Kepware instance due to the missing Administrator password.I kindly request your assistance in either removing or resetting this password so I can proceed with license updates and modifications. I can see own the Siemens Suite License ID.

Version: Windchill 12.0 Use Case: How to create a rich text attribute using dataUtilities?Description: We need to create a string-type attribute and call it from the layouts using dataUtilities to transform into rich text.

I have created a new local (according to https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS348371?source=search , the attribute cannot be global) attribute associated with a "WTDocument" sub-type. I intend on adding this new attribute to one of the layouts associated with the sub-type. I wish to configure the attribute in such a way so that, when a user wishes to populate the attribute value field, they have the ability to use a "Picker" to make a selection from the WTParts that exist in the instance. Specifically, I would want the part number to be inputted into the attribute field upon selection. I have been looking at various articles/resources of PTCs and I can see that there is potentially a number of ways of doing this. My understanding is that a "Data Utility" could potentially provide the functionality I'm looking for. Can anybody advise on the best way of achieving my requirement? Currently it's not supported by Pro/TOOLKIT to do also a "Revise" beside a Checkout of an object from Windchill using ProServerObjectsCheckout() like it's written in Article - CS254712 - What Revise and Check Out options in Windchill PDMLink are supported by Creo Parametric customization.This functionality would be a great improvement for further CREO-releases.

Hello. I'm new to the software so i'm having a hard time finding this answer.Having some issues with generating creo view files. Actualy wondering how it is processed. 1- model generated in 2015, generates relatively small file(s) 50mb2- same model now in 2025 generated with a lott of files/size 700mb Does the generator first process all changes from 2015 till 2025, then work backwards towards effectivity date? any documentation how this is processed.  And are there methods of limmiting prpcessing time and files? Thanks,john.

I am using ThingWorx Platform Release 9.2 and DatecodeSP9In the Dashboard, when navigating to the Output tab and toggling between Bags/min and Kg/hour, the Time-Series Chart widget fails to display data upon the initial load of the mashup. However, when the Refresh button on the Dashboard is clicked, the data loads successfully after a few seconds. We have verified all bindings and services associated with the mashup and the Time-Series Chart widget. During debugging, we confirmed that all services are loading correctly. Following company's strategy, our IT is replacing all employee's PC by Snapdragon X Elite laptops. Surprisingly we encountered installation issue for Windchill, caused by incompatibility of Windchill Risk and Reliability for ARM64-based PCs.   According to Google AI, In the PC market, Arm-based processors are seeing increased adoption, with projections showing a growing share in notebooks, potentially reaching 40% by 2029. Following this trend, it could be potentially a big weakness of PTC, if compatibility issue is not fixed on time.   We constantly uses Windchill Risk and Reliability predictions demanded by customers, and placed a PO for 3-years floating license service of Windchill. However, this decision would have to be re-considered, if Windchill Risk and Reliability remains inoperable in our laptops.      Thank you for your attention!
