How can I display Change Notice attributes in the Tiles widget? It currently supports the WorkItem and ChangeRequest object types, but when I add a ChangeNotice, I get the following error:Unable to execute service GetAvailableAttributes on PTC.WCAdapter: Failed to run getAvailableAttributes: There is no WindchillEntityProvider that supports type Id PTC.ChangeMgmt.ChangeNotice.In the PTC.ComponentMetadata.GetDataTableEntries service, which displays the object types, I add PTC.ChangeMgmt.ChangeNotice objectType so that it displays the Name value. But, when calling the PTC.WCAdapter.GetAvailableAttributes service to view the attributes available with PTC.ChangeMgmt.ChangeNotice, the error mentioned occurs. What else is needed to use the objectType of PTC.ChangeMgmt.ChangeNotice? Do ThingWorx Navigate Components only support WorkItem and ChangeRequest?

Background: I’m working on a requirement to filter all Product and Library containers in an Organization based on the template they were created from. So I need to read the template associated with each container.Has anyone successfully retrieved template information for Product or Library containers without hitting this recursion issue or any recommended API for this job? What I’ve tried so far: ContainerTemplateService.getContainerTemplate(...) I attempted calling the getContainerTemplate API using both the container’s own reference and the OrgContainer reference. In all cases, the method consistently returns null, even for containers that I know were created from a template. WTContainer.getContainerTemplateReference().getName() This API does return a template name when called once, but any further processing (such as checking startsWith(...)) triggers a runtime failure:java.lang.StackOverflowError    at wt.method.RemoteMethodServer.invoke    at wt.fc.CachedObjectReference.inflate

We’re using Windchill Navigate 10.1 with custom mashups that display 3D models from Windchill as well as PVZ files published from Creo Illustrate.  Our illustrators take advantage of the nice render modes in Creo Illustrate but ThingView can only display as “Shaded”.  We’ve been in contact with PTC about this, asking if there are any plans to add render modes to ThingView, or at least be able to display 3D models using the render mode of the source file.  PTC’s response is “want to do it at some point but currently no plans to implement”.We’re beginning a project to implement Connected Work Cell and trying to decide if we need to have the Creo Illustrate authors stick to “Shaded” render mode since that’s what (I assume) will be displayed in CWC.I’m curious if others have encountered the same issue or found any workarounds. Thanks!

I am using Windchill Navigate (formerly ThingWorx Navigate) Release 9.2 and Datecode with CPS F000 We are using Navigate version 9.2.0 and the ThingView widget in ThingWorx to display 3D models. Our query is whether Creo models/files with the Creo file extension can be viewed in Navigate and ThingWorx using the ThingView widget.

I am using Windchill Navigate (formerly ThingWorx Navigate) Release 9.3 and Datecode with CPS 9.3.4 A blank page opens when attempting to open a representation from Navigate.

Hi so I'm working on this Thing that takes information from windchill, and puts it though a calculator to return times for the part. but is there anyway to use an O data connector or any feature to get a representation from windchill, there is the WRS partGetRepresentation but I do not know how to implement that into a service that can be called with a part Id or number, I currently am using getJSON to get the urls but that needs credentials in the code but is there a way to avoid having to log in each time by doing it another method that doesnt need to login.var url = "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/Windchill/servlet/odata/v7/ProdMgmt/Parts('" + input + "')/Representations"; var result; try { var response = Resources["ContentLoaderFunctions"].GetJSON({ url: url, username: user, password: pass, timeout: 10 }); if (response.value && response.value.length > 0) { var rep = response.value[0]; // Check for valid 2D/3D thumbnail URLs if (rep.TwoDThumbnailURL && rep.Tw

Hi., Is there any WRS that will fetch the Routing/Process History from Promotion Request? Thanks.

Hi.  I have a couple of Attributes in Windchill, around 3000+ documents. Where the attribute values need updating. Manually, it will take Days and weeks to update.  Thanks.

Hi,  Can Change Notices have the Promotion Request? If yes, which WRS do I need to use to fetch the Promotion Requests for a Change Notice? Thanks.

Are you able to do ECN approval in Windchill Navigate or is it only Problem reports and ECRs?

I am using Windchill Navigate (formerly ThingWorx Navigate) Release 9.3 and Datecode with CPS 9.3.4 In Windchill Navigate Landing Page: Every task tile is showing duplicate entries.

Hi, I am working on a feature on creating a Report Generator Dashboard. I need usually execute the reports created in the Windchill in Thingworx and show in the Table.  Is there a way or WRS to do this? Thanks.

I have created Thingworx Windchill Odataconnector thing from OdataConnector template. All basic settings like ValidateConnection, GetEndPointList works fine. I want to add a custom service (Local Service) to call my custom rest End point added to the WTPart domain getCustomPartList().I can add a new service as Route but I want to modify the data after calling the custom end point.I tried me.getCustomPartList() but not working as expected.

Hello Community,I have tried to install ThingWorx and Windchill Navigate, but I am facing a few issues. Could you please help me? When I am redirected through the Windchill address I connected to, a Status Code: 500 Windchill error screen appears. I edited the Windchill wtproperties file, but it did not resolve the issue. ThingWorx opens successfully, but the ThingWorx Mashup Runtime displays a blank screen. What could be the reason for this, and how can I fix it?

Hello everyone, Since I updated Windchill 12.1 to CPS19, I've encountered this issue with Navigate. Is it possible that it's due to the CPS? If not, what could be the cause? How can I fix it?  (OOTB) applications are no longer usable and have the same error. TW Navigate Exception executing service, , on resource provider: WindchillDocumentResourceProvider

The Analyze Problem Report task is successfully displayed in Windchill Navigate, but the associated task-specific attributes are not being retrieved.

We have a requirement to connect ThingWorx with Windchill using the OData Connector configured with Fixed Authentication. However, Basic Authentication is disabled on the Windchill server. When I configure Fixed Authentication using the Windchill org admin account, I get the following results:ValidateConnection: 200 (Success)RefreshEndpointCache: SuccessGetEndpointList: returns an empty array [] (no endpoints)Could someone please advise how we can populate or retrieve the endpoint list for this Fixed Authentication setup on this server? Thanks in advance,VV

Hello,Have anybody using out of the box View Part structure app? The tree widget in Thingworx removes the duplicate part numbers. That really becomes data integrity issue. We only see one occurrence of the M4X4_SHSS.PRT in Thingworx Navigate . How have you handle this? Thanks,Preeti

Hi Folks,I am new to the Thingworx Navigate and need to customize the Part Structure Tab of 'View Part Structure' Mashup. Currently the Part Structure Table represents Number, Name and State fields. Requirement is to show Quantity also in the Part Structure Table. Could you please help in defining the steps how to customize it and display Quantity. Thanks in Advance.

We have a customer requirement to restrict the download functionality for Windchill Navigate users, while still allowing them to view (visualize) primary and secondary content attachments. The intent is to prevent users from downloading files, yet enable them to access and read the data through Navigate.Currently, access control in Windchill is managed via ACL permissions. However, if download access is restricted at the ACL level, users are unable to even view or search for attachments in Windchill Navigate. This creates a functional limitation, as the customer wants their users to be able to see the content in Navigate (for example, PDFs or viewable files), but not download it.

In an Expressions function: ExistentPTO in a Mashup X,I have a need to evaluate the payload on a call to a route (from another project: ToolB).response = Things["ToolB.v6DocMgmt"].getDocuments({......});if (JSON.stringify(response)[value] == []) {    output = "Not a good number";} else output = <target mashup name>; When viewing the mashup, i get this in the logs:19:06:28 WARN - Evaluation of expression "ExistentPTO" Failed. Things is not defined Can I NOT use Things within an Expression function? How do i refer to a Thing in another project?
