I am authoring a maintenance manual using PTC Arbortext Editor with Styler, Release 8.1.1.0. I have my stylesheet set up to automatically populate an 'intentionally left blank' page if a section or chapter ends on an odd page number. This function is working correctly for all the section/chapter breaks in my document, but is not inserting a final blank page at the end, resulting in an odd page count. This happens regardless of which topic I put at the end of my document. Thoughts?

Hello Community,This happen on Kepserver 6.17 when i browse tag on OPC server. after selecting tag and hit " apply " button then there is warning "One or more changes were not applied to 'Wincc.HIPC11SVR' since it is being referenced by a client.". i read manual but no solution. is there anyone can help?

I've been following the posts of the year's on Windchill development and how folks are managing their customizations and their steps for deployment. Being historically untrained and old school, I had opted for simplicity but these "bad habits" might be preventing me for moving forward. I have completed as restructuring of my Git repo and removed Eclipse compiled class files from its management. Just for context, I develop offline on my laptop pushing changes up to Bitbucket then down to the local repos on Dev, Test or Prod as needed. Feel free to throw stones at any point. I can duck, bob and weave.  Now, I have been exploring  methods to automate or script build and deploy to the Windchill directory. Ant seems to be what I've chosen to work with for the moment. How to batch create a large number of users in Windchill

Hi all,  I have an issue with plotting a function on Mathcad Prime 11. For some reason there are missing segments in the plots of my shear-force diagrams. I'm not sure why this is happening, other plots I have made seem to work fine - any guidance would be much appreciated.  The plots and respective functions are on pages 9 and 17 of the attached document. Is there away to make a representation that puts all sub models in a assembly to a defined user defined representation? So lets say that company standard defines that each part model has following custom representations: * Medium_Rep* Low_Rep So one way would be to have a representation in assembly level that is also called Medium_Rep and Low_Rep that would automatically set every part to their .respective representation. We can off course do this manually one by one, but is there a way to automate setting of user representation in bulk? Or even entirely automatically?

Hi ThingWorx Community,I’m working with a State Definition (project.States.SD) where each state (e.g. taskCreated, taskAssigned, taskInProgress, etc.) has its own display‐style (colors, icons, shapes) configured in Composer:   Right now, to apply those styles at runtime I’ve been hard‑coding the color/icon mappings in my mashup scripts. What I’d really like is to dynamically retrieve the full style definition (all state keys, display names, style palettes, icons, etc.) via a service call.My questions:Is there a built‑in ThingWorx service (for example under DefinitionServices or MetadataManager) that returns the complete style configuration for a given State Definition?If not, is there a recommended pattern or existing code snippet for querying a State Definition’s metadata (including style properties) at runtime?Any pointers, sample code or best‑practice guidance would be hugely appreciated!Thanks in advance,

A co-worker is unable to open a PTC support case related to Info*Engine.  They are being redirected to post publicly on the PTC Community instead with no option to continue with case creation.  Is there any way around this?  What are the options if the information being shared needs to remain confidential and only be visible to PTC vs. the entire community?  Is there a list somewhere of all the topics this redirect behavior is currently configured for?   Example:

I am having a significant level of loading failures in 2025 with "Incorrect file format, file should be from PTC Mathcad Prime" and "File contains corrupted data" errors as the causes:.  23 cases are appended. What is most concerning is that projects that have been used to launch improved models a few days earlier as well as intentional project copies, both cannot be opened then or a few months later.   Is anyone else seeing an increase?  The "incorrect file format" is a new error for me.  It looks like it may be necessary to store PDF copies of projects, as some of these programs are 50-100 pages in length and will take days to weeks to reconstitute. Two .mcdx programs I tried to upload were rejected as having as having an incorrect file extension..  Is there something wrong with the title "250525, Tac7C+Weatherstation, corrected firmware, threaded slab heater, slope analysis.mcdx" ?

Curious what others are doing. When you deploy apps, do you link directly to them or do you make use of the landing page? I can see my page getting very cluttered soon with an ever growing cluster of "custom apps" appearing at the bottom. I am sure I can create my own front end with direct links to each app but is there a more standard way of modifying the landing page or even making a new one? I can see just a simple reorganization and sorting might be helpful. 

 Currently we use JT files from Solid Edge to get models into IsoDraw. Our company is looking at switching to Solid Works. Any one use a JT adapter with Solid Works, It does not seem to have a convertor available with it. It does do Step files but those are huge in size.   Looking for suggestions.   Bryon

I have to migrate RV&S data to Codebeamer, In RV&S we were not using Test Step and entering Expected Result in a custom field. In Codebeamer, I created a custom field called Expected Result, but it doesnt get displayed in Test Run Wizard.

Hello,  I am using ThingWorx 9.6.0 and working on a project to create a paperless report, where almost all the data is displayed using the "grid" widget. Is there a way to change the height of the "grid" widget to accommodate the amount of data shown without having to scroll? Regards,Elbert

I recently ran into upgrade issues going from 9.3.4 to 9.7 on a test instance. It failed on the step for updating the database. I did some tests in line with this article: Upgrading ThingWorx Platform using the installer fails... This is the way my connection string is formatted both in platform.settings.json and in an connector Thing inside of Thingworx: "driverClass": "com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver", "jdbcUrl": "jdbc:sqlserver://<host>:<port>;ssl=required maxStatements=0;databaseName=ThingWorx;applicationName=Thingworx;", I had to add the ssl=required to the connection string. I could not find any article in the knowledge base about this but wondering if anyone in the field has configured their system in such a way. One thought I had was to have my DBA disable this option so we can perform upgrade without any complexities. When I ran the sqlcmd tests,  I did see it complain about ssl and even with options "-N -C" it still did not like it. I

But in which table? And how do I find the entry to change?If I run this in the database, I get 114 results.
