PTC Requirements Validation & Source 13.5 has been released and should start showing up on the download location for you to try out and use in the next 48 hours.
The PTC RV&S 13.5 release delivers major value through modernized OIDC‑based security and Codebeamer integration with PTC - SCM [PTC RV&S].
OIDC Phase II strengthens enterprise authentication by supporting leading identity providers (PingFederate, Okta, Entra ID), improving security posture while simplifying compliance and long‑term operational maintainability.
The Codebeamer 3.3 - SCM integration is a significant step forward, with streamlined change package creation and synchronization, webhook-based notifications, and improved OSLC-based collaboration between the tools.

SCM Updates
- Create and sync change packages for Codebeamer 3.3 Items
- Added support for creating a change package for Codebeamer Items in PTC RV&S Client GUI
- Added support for webhook triggers in PTC RV&S to notify changes in changes package events to Codebeamer.
- Server Stability and Throughput Improvements for Data Transfer
- Introduced automated assignment of DTS profiles based on network latency when using a proxy server. This enhancement removes the need for manual DTS profile configuration.
- Introduced a new option to resynchronize an exact instance of a shared subproject in the sandbox.
Collaborate – OSLC
- Added support for Codebeamer Delegated UI to access Codebeamer 3.3 resources.
- Introduced a new filter in the PTC RV&S Delegated UI that allows users to preselect the document(s) to search requirements within it.
- Added support for OTHER type of OSLC server to enable integration with tools beyond the PTC Family of products.
- Added a New Generic OSLC Client to connect with OTHER OSLC Servers
