Here is how you can upload your attachments depending on their type: Images can be attached in 2 ways:You will need to click on the image icon in the Description box and choose the picture from your files.You can drag and drop  or copy and paste the image from your files in the Description Box.Both ways will attach your image inside the Description boxNote: attached images cannot be over 5Mb in size. Videos and other attachments can only be attached using the file attachment button and choose from your files.The attachment can now be seen under the Description box. Here’s a list of supported files that can be attached:Common Documents: pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, txt, csv, rtf, odt. Go to the post you want to subscribe. Scroll down and under the “Tags” you will see and click on the “Follow” button.  The post is successfully subscribed when button turns to “Unfollow”.You will receive a notification and an e-mail once someone replies to your topic.You can also view the topics you’re subscribed to by clicking your profile picture at the top, then “Subscriptions” in the drop-down menu. 

1. Go to the board you want to subscribe.2. Click on “Subscribe” at the upper-right corner.  3. The subscribe successful when the button turns green and to “Unsubscribe”. You will then receive an e-mail notification each time a new topic is posted on the board (category). 

 Using the Private Messenger FeatureYou can send a private message to one community member at a time. Private messages display in a threaded view.Accessing your messagesYou can access your private messages by clicking on your avatar at the top-right of any community page, and then “Private messages” on the drop-down menu To send a private message You can send a private message only from the community member's profile.Navigate to any community members' profile, and click the "Send message" button under their profile picture. Once you have entered a message, click "Post" Reading your private messagesThe private messenger feature displays messages in a threaded view. Click on “Show conversation” on any conversation in your inbox to read through an entire conversation.

Bourque   With over two decades of experience using PTC's Creo Parametric and its predecessor, Pro/ENGINEER, and having served as Vice President of PTC University, I have accumulated a vast repository of knowledge. Despite this experience, I often found myself spending excessive time searching for specific pieces of information scattered across my hard drives. This frustration led to the creation of CreoVerse, an AI-driven assistant designed to streamline my workflow and make information easily accessible as part of an ongoing personal research project.   Why I Created CreoVerse1.

Tags are tools for organizing and filtering community topics.  Tags are chosen by the author of a new topic from a predefined list. Each board has a list of tags created by the community team. For example, when you post a question on our Mathcad board, you can select a tag to indicate that the question is about installation. You should chose at least ONE tag. We recommend to apply only one tag, 2 or 3 maximum. Other users can use this tag when filtering posts. To summarize Tags:Can only be chosen by the author of the topic Come from a predefined list 

How Employees Register For the PTC Community Anyone that is a PTC Employee or a Partner using the @ptc.com domain can register for a PTC Community username and participate in the PTC Community public discussions and private groups. Step 1:  Go to eSupport and sign in without your @ptc.com domaineSupport URL:  https://support.ptc.com    Step 2:   Once your eSupport registration is complete (by signing in), you need to access http://community.ptc.com  and accept the PTC Community Terms of Service.   Step 3:  Select a more community friendly username (instead of default XY_123456) Once you have a community username that can access and engage in the "overall" community, you can also request to join any "closed" User Group or Working Group.  Reach out to a moderator or any Community Manager if you have questions about registration!

We receive a lot of feedback that some questions on the community are lacking necessary details and information, so we put together this list of tips that will improve your chances of receiving the answer you are looking for. Search first. If you have a question that you need answered fast, chances are someone has asked it before. So, take advantage of the community search. There are a variety of options to help you find answers!   Make sure you are on the right forum. If you ask a Creo question on our community feedback forum, chances are no one able to answer it is ever going to see it. What is a PTC Community Champion? A Champion is a PTC Community Member that has shown a track record of providing helpful advice and is a regular positive contributor to the community.  Champions are members that also interact closely with the PTC Community Team advocating for improvements for the overall community experience via constructive feedback, regular surveys, and working sessions. PTC Community Champions help other members directly through sharing their expertise to provide product solutions and by being an advocate for all things community!  You should always feel comfortable utilizing our Feedback board, Contacting PTC Community Management or using the “Report” button, but Champions will advocate for you as well!  Think of the Champions as your special ambassadors to the PTC Community Management Team. How do I recognize a PTC Community Champion? A PTC Community Champion has a laurel wreath around their profile picture.    Why would I want to be a Community Champion? Communi

PTC Community members can subscribe to email notifications for their favourite content and for things like private messages. The notifications will come from our sender address community-mailer@ptc.com This is extremely useful, but the community's email address may create occasional confusion. The email address associated with a community member's profile on the PTC Community is the same one used for your eSupport account.   If you still have access to your eSupport account and have not yet created an account with your new email address, you can update your email address here.https://support.ptc.com/appserver/common/account/secure/wamMain.jsp If you DO NOT have access to your former eSupport account, you will need to create a new community (or eSupport) account with the new email address.  Immediately, contact a moderator or community manager once your new account is created and we can merge your profiles, so you have all your community history on one account. Thank you! Jaime Lee

Have a PTC product question you need answered fast? Chances are someone has asked it before, so make sure to familiarize yourself with the community search. To search the community, you can click the search icon in the header on any community page. This will open a search bar in the header. By default, that search will be scoped to the board or category you are on, but you have the option to change the scope of your search in the dropdown on the left of the search bar. You can search the current board, the current category or the entire community. You can also search for community members or knowledge articles. (This is not to be confused with the PTC knowledge base. Searching knowledge on the community will take you to our "Tips" boards.) When you start typing your search you will immediately see some suggestions. If you see what you are looking for that's great, but if you don't, when you press enter you will be taken to a search page which has additional search options. To register for the PTC Community,, you may register as a Partner, as an Education PTC  account holder,  a  Basic User, or  as a New Customer with your PTC Customer Credentials  (Customer #,SCN (Service Contract Number), SON (Sales Order Number) and Customer Site Number.  The eSupport Knowledge article CS287536 provides information on how to find your customer credentials.   Note:  PTC Employees always login with their SSO credentials username and single sign on password set by PTC. To Start a Community Topic (or Ask a Question): On the community main page, click “Create a topic”.You will be prompted to a new page. Make sure “Question” is selected in order to post a topic.Enter a meaningful subject title that will yield good search results. Under “Category” choose the board where you want to post your question. Make sure to add a “Tag” to your topic. Sometimes community moderators find it necessary to move or remove content during their efforts to keep the community organized and productive. Here are some frequently asked questions concerning content moves. What are the reasons my message might be moved? Most often messages are moved because they were posted in the wrong area of the community. For example, a Mathcad question posted on the Welcome & How-To's board would be moved the Mathcad discussion board where it would be more likely to get a response. On occasion, a message has to be moved or edited because it violates our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines. Outdated information may be removed and archived. Rarely, a large number of posts are moved due to a restructuring of the community. For example two related boards might be merged. Will I be able to find a topic I was following if it is moved?  Yes. If you are subscribed to a conversation, your subscription will remain, and links to the conversation will still work
