Hi, I am having the following issue:When trying to insert an OLE Object like a Visio file or an Excel file my computer fails to generate a preview thumbnail. Hello,   Several years ago, our PTC representative provide us a FDO called "copyCrossDomain", that allow copy of document content from one type to another one. We have not used it yet, but some user ask me for such a feature.    This FDO consist of a single JAR file, that's easy to set up. But the version we got contains bugs  : for example, a bug when pasting hierarchically linked contents Does anyone use this FDO, and could have an improved version ? Is there a search and replace feature in windchill RV&S 12.5.03, When I open either a requirements document or a test protocol document, there is a option to search by selecting view->search text, but I have a need for searching and replacing the entire document.

we are seeing users losing the access to queries and items automatically, even after adding user to the resp groups the access is lost after sometime. we are using Windchill RV&S 12.5. 

I want to rehost the R&VS server from one domain to another, basically rehosting the existing server while changing the domain name. How can we do that?

HelloIn PTC Modeler 10.2, is there a way to copy to the clipboard the token so that it is ready to paste it in text fields? If not built-in, is it possible to write a script to do that? The need is to replace drag-drop from pane to text that could be annoying with long panes.The need is not to copy the model element but its token as used in text fields (like Description of requirements, ...) I haven't any command in the IDE.I looked at Automation API of model elements but haven't found any clipboard-related operations.Dumping the content of the clipboard after copying a token gives internal info that is maybe not appropriate (as too much linled to internal PTC Modeler deisgn):=== Available Clipboard Formats === [49161, 49293, 1, 16, 7, 13, 49171]I guess PTC Modeler uses custom types [49161, 49293 and 49171] to store internal bytestream representation of the token that could be pasted. Thank you for your support

Once I am selecting an old baseline, the export works normally, but once I export a newer baseline in Windchill Requirements Connector 4.3, there is a pop up message "DOORS: **** Translating a structured exception ****" and a notification that DOORS has stopped working. As a result, the export is ERROR.What can be the issue?Thanks in advance

I know you can import SysML 2.0 textual notation, but is there a way to export to text notation, or write text notation directly in Modeler to create/manage models?

I am trying to execute this command`im editproject --permittedGroups=MyGroup /MyProject`but the response says that MyGroup does not exist.I definitely does exist, it is an mksdomaingroup and I can run `integrity mksdomaingroups`which shows me the group exists.any ideas anyone ?

Good day,How to construct a trigger rule for following usecase: Requirement State CHANGES from Published to InWork?I was able to construct a rule for a State[New] = InWork case. But for me Published->InWork and OtherState->InWork are not the same. My trigger should be invoked only for "Published->InWork" case and not for cases like "OtherState->InWork". How to achive this kind of "state transition management"?Thanks

I want to use the java api to run a report and get the result.It appears, from the documentation that running a report creates the output in the servers data/tmp directory.From docs: "For security reasons, all file references on the PTC RV&S server are restricted to the data/tmp directory in the server installation directory."Using the java api, is there any way to get the result of a report ?thanks

Can I execute RV&S 10.8 client program on Windows 11?

Does anyone know the reason behind this issue? I am getting a command line window pop while trying to add members in configuration management side of Windchill RV&S. After looking through the client logs. I found out that this : Running trigger from preference si.AddMembers.post named AMpost command: cmd /k "edit %MKSSI_WORKINGFILE%" but I didn't found any relevant trigger in either of client or server side of the Windchill RV&S.
