Hello !I run Creo 9.0.12.0 and I set the config.pro option auto_add_remove to yes. However, it looks like the option is not applied by Creo. No matter what side I move the extrusion arrow, I still have to select “Remove Material” to, well, remove material. Any insight here, please ? Google found nothing so far.Thanks !

Current version: Windchill 12.1 with Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 20.7 When using CED Modeling in combination with Windchill, it is possible to show Windchill attributes in the structure browser through structure browser views. It would be great to have these attributes also shown in the tooltip when hovering over a component (instead of showing the structure browser path of the selected component) in order to have more clarity/information when navigating the viewport.

Hello,I'm reading data from another application via an OPC UA Client on any channel in Kepware. I can receive notifications when the data changes. Is there a way to create notifications before the data changes? Reading at intervals doesn't solve my problem. I have a timestamp indicating when a value has been read. I want to notify the client of the same value when the timestamp changes.

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: I am trying to bulk load part instance and part configuration objects into Windchill and to establish the links between them and the parts they are related to.Description: I was hoping to be able to do this with the REST API but it doesn't look like there are end points available to allow this to be done. How can the default on drilled holes be changed to 140°?  While 118° may be standard for a lot of drills, almost all of our drills Ø3/8 and up to Ø1-1/4" are 140° inserted tips.  As a Creo NC user, I change models all the time sent to me by Engineering that have holes put in at 118°, just to match the drill that I will actually be using.

Would anyone know if you can reference the Component Feature Number (not internal feature ID) in a relation for a filter in an assembly drawing repeat region?Wanting to use features in an assembly model tree, 2 features at a time using their location in an assembly model tree to control what components are displayed in an assembly drawing BOM table on a particular sheet.Basically, if the components are between any 2 features in the model tree that I specify, I want to show them and only the quantities for the parts in the BOM table repeat region on a drawing sheet for the components that reside between the 2 features in the model tree.Features would be named Sheet_2, Sheet_3, Sheet_4, Sheet_5, etc. and could be an annotation feature, datum plane, or other feature.Repeat region filter would be if greater than feature number for Sheet_2 and less than feature number for Sheet_3 display component info and qty of part in that section of model tree in BOM table.Each drawing sheet will build

I was unable to create new local attributes even after running the AddColumns wt.part.WTPart String=1 query in the Windchill shell. Although the attribute columns were successfully added to the wt.part.WTPart table and the corresponding columns are visible in the database, the new local attributes are not being created still getting same old error “ A string attributes cannot be created because database columns of the following datatype are not available

I just had Creo 10.0.7.0 crash. Thankfully I was no longer in any models at the time of the crash. Just starting to open a file. When I restarted Creo, all the “Recent” files are not from today - I had just seen them and chose one when the crash occurred. Any thoughts?

In Creo assembly design, is it a good practice to first validate the concept using Layout, then define a Skeleton model, and finally create parts within the assembly using skeleton references?Does this approach help avoid assembly issues, or are there better recommended workflows?

We have a phantom item at the first level of the BOM that we do not want to publish as-is.The structure is:Parent → Phantom → Child partsIn Oracle, the expectation is:Parent → Child parts (phantom should be flattened)We are enabling one-level publishing only. Is it possible to generate the XML in such a way that the phantom is replaced with its child BOM (i.e., flatten the phantom during publishing)?I’m considering two approaches:Manually manipulating the XML, though this may be complex and error-prone due to multiple scenarios. Sending the BOM for phantom instead of phantom before generating the XML.Is there a better or recommended approach to achieve this?

While exporting the Structure BOM by selecting the “Multi Level BOM” option under the Reports tab, the BOM is currently exported with the report name followed by the Username and the current date. We would like to know if there is any possibility to export the file using the Number + Part Name instead.

HiI am trying to configure a 10.2 identical node type cluster with two nodes obviously one of which will be the active master.As per the Advanced Config Guide (http://support.ptc.com/WCMS/files/156979/en/WCAdvDeployGuide.pdf), the 2 properties that need to be set are:wt.rmi.server.hostname=Awt.cache.master.slaveHosts=B, C, DBoth these properties are set. But when I start Windchill, the MethodServer will start only on that node which is started first. For Ex. if I start Windchill on Node # 1 first, the Server Manager and the MethodServer both come up on it. But on node # 2 which is started after node # 1, only the Server Manager starts and never goes beyond the following line:INFO : wt.manager.CacheMasterNegotiator - Master stub retrieved: ServerManagerImpl$MasterServerManagerImpl_Stub[UnicastRef [liveRef: [endpoint:[xxxxxxx.xxxx.xxx:5002](remote),objID:[-2dd23186:148e7679245:-7ffd, -7282938796370177322]]]]No MethodServer on node # 2. We normally retrieve hole features from part files using Solid.ListFeaturesByType(false, (int)EpfcFeatureType.EpfcFEATTYPE_HOLE). However, this code doesn’t work for certain ISK part files and returns a null group value. Please explain, why the part file is returning a null group value?

 Hello Community,I have tried to install ThingWorx and Windchill Navigate, but I am facing a few issues. Could you please help me? When I am redirected through the Windchill address I connected to, a Status Code: 500 Windchill error screen appears. I edited the Windchill wtproperties file, but it did not resolve the issue. ThingWorx opens successfully, but the ThingWorx Mashup Runtime displays a blank screen. What could be the reason for this, and how can I fix it?  

I’m currently using Creo 4 to test interference detection through VBAPI in C#. When I try to run the same code in Creo 11, the application launches and the working directory is set successfully, but I receive a 'pfcExceptions::XToolkitInvalidName' error at the line session.OpenFile(modelDesc1).Activate(); One more question: Does Creo 11 support rotating and zooming the assembly to capture the interference location?

I need to populate the New Number field for thousands of parts/assemblies in Windchill. See attached example: The New Number simply needs to be the string between the first underscore and the file extension of the File Name field (red font). I hope I don’t have to individually copy paste each of these.
