Hello PTC Community,I would like to confirm the expected behavior of the Kepware _System._NoError tag when it is referenced from ThingWorx.I reviewed the following support article:CS466164NoError tag value fails to update in ThingWorx when NoError tag is updating in Kepware Modified: 19-Mar-2026 / Last Seen: 15-Apr-2026As I understand the article summary, it states that:the NoError tag is updating in Kepware, but the NoError value in ThingWorx is not updating, the cause is that only the NoError tag is bound, and the suggested resolution is to bind a device static tag on the same Thing together with _System._NoError, ensure that the static tag completes its first scan, and then verify that the NoError value updates in ThingWorx.However, from my understanding, _NoError is a system tag representing the device communication state on the Kepware side, while ThingWorx is in the client position relative to Kepware.Because of that, the explanation that _NoError is not evaluated until a normal

When looking at a large assembly in CreoView, is there a way to see the MBD annotations for ONLY a particular part or ONLY a particular sub-assembly?  Can you go and pick and choose what annotations to show in Creo View?

When I did a search in the community for my last name, it returned 280+ results. When I went to cycle through the pages to get to additional topics, it would only show me the same 10 results, even though the page number at the bottom was changing.

​@PeterCase ​@RomainGarcia ,One of the most useful things when reading a modified support article is being able to see what changes have been made to it. Until now, this hasn’t been possible, but while reading the updates to this critical article, which has been edited several times in recent days, I noticed that a table with the change log has been added at the bottom of the page. Was this done solely because of the urgency of the article’s content and the frequent edits, or are you working on extending this feature to all other edited articles as well? Thanks  Marco

Hi all,For our assemblies, we add a BoM table to the drawing. These were setup a while ago, and we have a few different tables saved for different purposes. The main one is a simple table with a repeat region as followsThis works fine for most of the parts, but it doesn’t allow us to define a different part number other than the one defined in Windchill. If we were starting again with our installation, we would probably add a relation in the start part against a parameter such as ‘BOM_PART_NUMBER’ which defaulted to the Windchill part number but could be changed by the user. This parameter would then be what is defined in the repeat region.However, we now have many thousand parts and none of them have this parameter, and so we cannot change the part number in the BoM without changing the file name of the part.Having done some research, it looks like relations can be added to the repeat region, and so a conditional statement can be added. Hi, I have been trying to upload new attachments for Detail case 18053094. When I try to upload, It seems that nothing happens and nothing appears in Case History. It is important for us to solve the problem as fast as possible since it’s a quite urgent case

I am using Creo 10, When I go to Creo Simulation Live and click on “Study”, the “include thermal” option is grayed out.  I am trying to perform a multi-physics analysis to determine the effects of thermal expansion.  I found a video by PTC that is exactly what I need to do, but I can’t select the “include thermal”.   This video is for Creo 9, so I would think Creo 10 has the same capability.  The option is there but just grayed out.

If I create a notification entity in composer, and a trigger, it will put information about this in 2 tables in the DB (notificationcontent_model, notificationdefinition_model). When I delete a trigger, it is not deleting this row from the table. Because of this, I cannot create a new trigger with the same name on the same notification entity. For now, I have been deleting this row in the DB table in order to ensure this name is available for use again. I also noticed the same thing happens if you delete the entire notification entity. None of its data are removed from the tables in the DB. Is this a bug? Are there any side effects to removing these rows from the table in the DB when a trigger is deleted?

Hi there,I am having difficulty identifying spot weld symbols and holes in the drawing.I attempted to modify the datum point symbols to circles through the detailing file and also tried filling the circles. However, this approach is time-consuming, and I am unable to select all spot welds at once.Is there a way to streamline this process?

Hi, I have a customer that is using Kepware Server for OPC DA / OPC UA / OPC DA communication between two systems. At the moment we are having issues with certain slow updating tags (booleans and integers) that freezes and are not updated between the two systems. Continuous updating values are no issue... The issue seem to be that the tags gets timed out and are not correctly mirrored between the systems. If we create local subscriptions on the KepServer node on the actual tags the error seem to disappear. Is there a way to configure kepware to establish the subscription to the source tags regardless of the client status? We cant find any correlating error messages in kepware.

I'm having issues with Windchill randomly booting me out of the renaming process of my files.More specifically, I'm trying to rename a list of new files in my Workspace before checking them in. When I start renaming them, Windchill will suddenly and without warning boot me out of the process which forces me to redo it again. It's getting really frustrating. I'm trying to replicate the issue. It seems using a combination of the Shift and Space keys on your keyboard seems to trigger it.Anyone else ever have this problem?

Version: Windchill 13.0   Use Case: Doing wildcard search from a Navigate app by calling WRS endpoints like v7/ProdMgmt/Parts with $filter containing asterisks *. Description: Hello All,   I have a Navigate app, which queries for WTParts, currently $filter-ing by contains(Name, '<query>').   We'd like to extend it so that it supports arbitrary wildcards like "quick*fox*dog". WRS docs suggest we can enable wildcards via PTC-WildcardSearch header, but I don't see how it can be done via Navigate, which doesn't seem to allow me specifying custom headers.   As for now, I thought of working around this issue by and-chaining "contains" clauses and then filtering out false positives on the ThingWorx side. I'll appreciate better ideas.   Thanks, Constantine  

I’m trying to create a custom REST domain with custom functions.  I copied an example to get going and it seems to initially work. However, when I then go to change the import.js, the updates never seem to take. I can actually delete the import.js and the custom function still work implying that the js is cached.Do I need to restart the server or clear some cache?

I have set up an account to download the free Creo Viewer version, for viewing only. However, when I click on download and try to enter my username: and enter my password which is the one I initially set up, it gives me an error message that the username or password is wrong. If I click on trying to reset password, it brings up a page for me to enter my suer name which is my email, then it asked me to enter the three digit numbers that are underlined in order, and when I do it, it just circles right back to me having to enter my username and the three digit code at bottom. Also please see attachments of when I try to login. The attachments are in order per the steps. 

Hello ​@JC_Niyonkuru  Currently, classification is only supported for WTPart and WTDocument. Have you received requests for cycle classification from other customers as well (see below idea)? Is this feature planned for a future version of Windchill? I would need a response from you before deciding whether to add further customizations to the system due to the lack of a feature that already exists but is not available for all object types. Thank you for your attention Marco

Our style sheet was modified with a custom element for our covers. The custom element supports one image element. Where do I change it so It can accept two images, as I would like to profile them.   Thanks   Bryon

I am trying to convert the Insert and Delete Pub Tags that are used by Arbortext to indicate differences, into elements that are part of our DTD.   It would be convenient if I could either tell Arbortext to use our elements for the Diffs, OR even if I could use elements instead of the Pub tags.  The actual tagging looks like this in notepad:<?Pub Tag Delete?>texte<?Pub /Delete?>I am find it hard to find and transform these to real elements. Also, in the Arbortext help I see this line:" Compare tab provides a choice between either wrapper tags or PIs (processing instructions named Insert and Delete) to mark the differences in content as insertions and deletions. " However, I dont see anything like that on the screen.  Where can I make this "choice"?

Hello team I am facing one issue with hololens2 view in vuforia studio.where I want to visualize a 2 floor building when I am viewing the experience the box kind of view is coming where it restricted the view. When we turn the head the remaining experience we can see but the view is coming in rectangular box view. If any solution is available for this reply ASAP.
