Vuforia Studio

Hi everyone,I am working with 2D views in Vuforia Studio, but when I run the experience on an iPad using the Vuforia View app, I still see a very thin strip of the camera feed at the bottom of the screen.This happens even though the experience is intended to be purely 2D.Has anyone encountered this issue before?Is this expected behavior in Vuforia View? Is there a way to completely disable the camera view for 2D-only experiences? Or is there some configuration or setting I might be missing? Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance 🙏

Hello,I created a UR5-style robot in Blender with a correct parent-child hierarchy.Inside Blender, all joints move correctly as a full kinematic chain.After exporting to FBX and importing into Vuforia Studio, the hierarchy seems broken:parts rotate independently child links do not follow the parent the robot falls apart when using sliderQuestions:Does Vuforia Studio fully support Blender FBX hierarchies? Should Armatures/Bones be avoided? Is PVZ/Creo Illustrate recommended instead of FBX for articulated robots? 4. How can I implement it correctly?My goal is to control the robot with sliders in Vuforia Studio so that it behaves like a real UR5 robot, where moving one joint also moves all following links correctly as a proper kinematic chain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!

Hello team I am facing one issue with hololens2 view in vuforia studio.where I want to visualize a 2 floor building when I am viewing the experience the box kind of view is coming where it restricted the view. When we turn the head the remaining experience we can see but the view is coming in rectangular box view. If any solution is available for this reply ASAP.

Hello. I am developing an AR measurement system in Unity using Vuforia Engine for a Windows Standalone build rather than UWP. My goal is to track a single Image Target moving on a perfectly flat physical table to precisely extract its spatial coordinates.I have tested this setup using both a standard PC webcam and an external Canon DSLR camera with a 50mm lens. Using the 50mm lens significantly improved the overall tracking precision and almost completely eliminated the "bowl effect" spatial distortion caused by wide-angle lenses, but a systematic error persists. As I slide the target away from the center of the camera along the depth axis, the tracked height systematically drops or rises instead of remaining at zero. Hi all!Problem  is:    so many experiences were published  on TWx ES  and now I need spend time when I open Library list in Vuforia View to find  my own or any other I need to start. Is there any way to change a flat list of experienses in the library to a hierarchical one or organized by publishing? And it is the only small part of the ocal library ☹️Thanks in advance.

You see i want all these 5 Folderlike things, that include .pbk-Analysis I created in Mechanism in just one scale. But i can only open one in one scale right now and its impossible to create the desired flow in just one .pbk. So how can I put all 5 of them on this blank scale?

Hi everyone, I’m working with the Grid Layout in Vuforia Studio and I’m trying to dynamically show or hide specific rows. The problem I’m facing: I cannot dynamically change the row or column class. I also cannot set their height/size to 0px at runtime. Simply hiding the widget inside the cell doesn’t help, because the row and column space remains visible. My goal is simple:I want all rows to exist in the layout, but I want to toggle their visibility (visible/invisible) without leaving empty space. Is there any workaround or method to: hide a full row in a Grid Layout? collapse its height (similar to CSS display: none)? or dynamically modify grid definitions at runtime? Any suggestions or best practices would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!

I set up a model that looks like a shell, with other models contained inside it (spatially enclosed by this shell). Then I set a modeltarget for this shell model, hoping to achieve Tracking Acquired with this shell. Once I successfully Tracking Acquired, I make all the internal model visible and hope they can trigger userpick events(Listen through home.js).The current problem is that if this model is contained inside the shell, it won't trigger userpick events. If some part of an internal model isn't completely wrapped by this shell, clicking on the unwrapped part correctly triggers userpick (throughout the process, the shell remains hidden and has no userpick events set). This occurs on iOS devices. However, everything works fine in the preview.vuforia studio, vuforia View and ES are all the latest version 10.2.0 I hope someone can resolve my doubts. Thank you.

Inside a semi-transparent box, there are parts. I want to select these parts with a tap.The box and parts are separate pvz files.It seems userpick event doesn't have properties that easily achieve this.Please share any brilliant ideas or tricks to make this happen.

Recently ran into this issue. The text input widget should have placeholder text (e.g. "enter employee id").This used to work fine but recently this started happening. This is showing up on old experiences that have were working previously and have not been updated.  Vuforia Studio Version 10.0.14 (10.0.14.0)

Hello, I want to show photo from Image Repository in TWX, but photo stored there is saved as base64. I was trying to get that photo via 'loadImage' service, then convert from base64 to jpg with '`data:image/jpg;base64,${response.rows[0].Content}`' and set this as src in 3dImage.  And it works in preview mode, but on mobile it doesn't.  I get an error :  'ERROR, data: ["Could not add 3D image: image_0_3"]; discarding callback; args=["image_0_3","image_0_3","data:image/jpg;base64,/9j/4AAQSkZJ...' So how can I get image from TWX and set it as 3dImage?

I’ve tried contacting support a few times via the form about getting trial access to Cloud Area Target, but haven’t received any reply so far.Has anyone else experienced the same issue, or is there another way to reach out to the team?Thanks in advance

Hello Sir/Madam, I created one Experience In which I bound data to label in preview it shows value but in IPAD it shows only "Label" text. (same thing happening with Gauge widget). As well as when I am enable state definition to Gauge widget It shows only color (no value). Could anyone explain me this behavior of Vuforia View?      

Hi, I desperately try to get live data from Thingworx to Vuforia Studio.On Thingworx, the user's organisation is set to the Things' visibility permission and the user has full run-time permissions. The parameter is updating when I refresh the bound properties (data from MQTT broker).I can publish with the user to the experience service, and I can also access the experience. Still, I only get the value which is set when the experience is loading, both in preview mode in Vuforia Studio and Vuforia View. During further "runtime" the value is not updated any more. With Microsoft ending Support for the HoloLens 2, are there plans to Support Vuforia Studio Experiences on other devices like Apple Vision Pro or Meta Quest 3?  

Hello Community, we are currently facing an issue on our Server (Experience Service 10.0.4) where users cannot log in. Issue Description When trying to log in to the Experience Service, the login prompt keeps appearing again and again. Even after entering the correct credentials, access is not granted. In Vuforia Studio, the same loop happens when configuring the Experience Service. Environment Details Experience Service Version: 10.0.4 Node.js Version: 20.13.1 NPM Version: 10.5.2 Database Handler: Postgres Server runs in secure mode  Seen in logs: multiple 401 Unauthorized responses when trying /ExperienceService/admin/logs. Troubleshooting Done So Far Cleared browser cache & cookies. Tested in Chrome Incognito (same result, repeated credential prompt).
