I have some large scan files from a router with many small line segments.  Creo error "you are attempting to import too many entities"  Suggested turning of "intent manager".  I can not find intent manager and it sketcher will not import the .dxf file.   If I hit Proceed, it does not import anything.   Is there a work flow work around for this to get the data into sketcher? 

New System - Who dis? This does not make much sense. I follow steps to set list of emails for the JMX Administrators. I did shutdown messages when I restarted last night which is confirmation that its working but as I watched the startup log I say this flash across for each of the methodserers: JMX-Administrators EMAIL LIST HAS NOT BEEN POPULATED! SYSTEM HEALTH NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT! I was curious that it did not presist settings but when I check the JMX console, they are there: If I look at each of the BGMS and MS in the JConsole, I see they have their own entry for addresses Address List here is blank. In this no longer used? Was message incorrect?

Hi, I am trying to set up a Connection Server and stumbled over the following question, which was not really answered via the HelpCenter:   Can I use a Connection Server with offline storage capability? In case ThingWorx goes down, does the Connection Server persist data and synchronises it once ThingWorx is up and running again? During the ThingWorx outage, the Thing itself is unable to send data to ThingWorx. I would somehow expect, that the Connection Server would be able to take the data and pass it on to the ThingWorx server at a later point, once all services are up and running again.   Thanks, Michael

Hi Developers, I created a mashup using a fileupload widget to capture and upload images.the app will be used with iPads.the Browse button works when we click the button with mouse.however it does not work when we use a finger or apple pencil to click. Hi, Thingworx version : 9.6.1 I am trying to set blinking of red color on thingworx grid based on a value for a particular column value.I used State definition to achieve the same.I created style definition using media entity and for media entity I used GIF for image. But GIF moved to label the to an extent that it became invisible. I have uploaded GridBlink image which shows red color but it is actually blinking and CSS from developer tools which shows the label inside column when width is reduced to 5%. But when this css is used directly as custom css, It is not working. Have uploaded css also. My requirement is to have blinking red color for a grid column and the label value should be appearing while blinking. Kindly suggest me how to achieve this

We created symbols of tables (i.e. torque table) in an mbd in Creo 8 but when we export them into a pvz file the justification of the symbol text changes from center justified to right justified so the text violates the table lines. These same files exported correctly with my old computer, but i had to get a new one and have a new config.pro. Is there a setting that controls this?

We have a requirement to highlight areas of a casting model as zoned areas, where the zoned area has specil requirements, ie cannot be repaired with welds etc.  We usually do this by highlighing the areas by drawing sketches on the drawing views.  We thought it might be a good idea to show these surfaces as different coloured surfaces in the 3D model so found a way on youtube, where a guy showed how to change a particular surface to transparent, then copy and paste a new surface over the transparent surface, which could then be split into 2 surfaces, with one being the colour of the original part and the other surface being coloured to a new colour to highlight a special attention area.  Our current policy for casting to machined, is to take this casting model, create a new part for the machined and then merge the casting into the machined model (using Get Data > Merge/Inheritance).  Unfortunately, when we then apply machined cuts to the machined part, these newl

Hi, I’ve parsed an Excel file on the client using SheetJS and now have a clean JSON spec of the UI (fields, checkboxes, etc.). Next step: generate a Mashup XML from that spec and create the Mashup in ThingWorx automatically.   Results after parsing excel are as below. It gives complete results like how many widgets in one row and then width and height of that widget with all requried details which would be very helpful to now generate a mashupXML       What would you recommend? that how can i now write a file and upload it in thingworx. should i upload this as extension the parse excel code  and then get that results in mashup somehow and then bind it to another extension may be in nodejs to do this job for me to write xml and upload in thingworx.. I have confusions about it like how can nodejs create a file and then upload it in thingworx as extension. (i know how NODEJS can create file but in thingworx context i have confusions)   Thank you

Hi everyone, i have this third party software which i would like to connect with thingworx so my first test is that i have app.js, index.html and this javascript library which worked well locally in my computer and now i would like to do same thing in mashup.  i am using valueDisplay widget in mashup and would like to render it in mashup. now my html is rendered properly and i can see it in mashup but i feel like i am unable to get app.js file and library js file in html.. Disclaimer: I know this is not indicated and I don't intend to use this in production.Using Thingworx 9.3.6 with Postgres on Windows I want to use one machine to set up two separate Thingworx instances. My goal is simply to have a clean, separate copy of our lab environment which we can use for testing our projects deployment.I have gone through the manual installation steps without problems, setting up Tomcat to run on a different port, making a new DB to connect to. I am now stuck because my 2nd instance cannot acquire connections from the DB and crashes. I have the platform-settings.json correctly setup, and I even tried the advice offered under this thread for setting the ENV variable THINGWORX_PLATFORM_SETTINGS, but unfortunately I was unsuccessful. Any up-to-date advice / setup steps for doing this would be greatly appreciated

Version: Windchill 12.1 Someone made a check-in but filled in the wrong attribute field.Now I need to fix it by leaving it blank, but when I try to check in, it says that I can't do that because the field cannot be removed. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it? Just to add, the field is a string and have no restrictions, and it's an asm file.
