I purchased and installed Mathcad Prime 12. However, I now understand that, because I am using a Dutch Windows 11 OS, Mathcad does not start. First of all, I find it unbelievable that PTC does not mention this very clearly beforehand, but that you are only confronted with this after purchasing. What really makes matters worse is that, although you start from and with the English website, you are redirected during the installation process to a Korean website, which is unreadable. So now I am stuck with a Mathcad version that I paid for and for which the 1-year period has already started, but which I cannot use. I would like this situation to be resolved ASAP.

Hello,I am looking for help with an issue involving sheet metal flat patterns, Creo Parametric, and Creo View.I am using Creo Parametric 10 and Creo View 12. When I create a flat pattern of a sheet metal part in Creo Parametric, the automatically generated bounding box overall length and width dimension annotations display correctly in Creo Parametric.However, when I open the corresponding file in Creo View, those automatically generated flat pattern bounding box dimensions do not appear in the Creo View viewable state.One thing I have noticed is that if I create manual dimensions in Creo Parametric, those manual dimensions do come through and display in Creo View correctly. The issue seems to be specific to the automatically generated dimensions created during flat pattern creation.Has anyone else seen this behavior with automatically generated flat pattern bounding box dimensions not publishing or displaying in Creo View? Hi Team,Looking for suggestions. We have limited Creo Parametric licenses (PROE_DesignAdvP T3 and PROE_DesignAdv T2). Is it possible to control license selection via the Creo launch .bat file so it checks FlexNet availability and automatically switches to the next available license if the preferred one is fully consumed?I’ve tried using lmutil lmstat in the batch file to check license usage. it checks the license count then close the launcher bat. i tried different codes but it is still bypassing the license count check. I have a great process for mass-printing or creating PDF’s from Creo View.  One of the key steps is collecting all the objects in Windchill and adding them to the clipboard. Does anyone know a way I can select an assembly, collect all the drawings of the assembly components and add them to the clipboard?  Anywhere I can get to that has the collection rules doesn’t seem to have Copy and anywhere that has Copy doesn’t seem to have a collector. Thanks in advance!

Many of my Mathcad worksheets are large (50+ pages).  As the worksheets get larger, the screen refresh rate becomes so slow when using the drag slider bar that scrolling through the worksheet becomes very difficult.   This has always been key source of frustration when using Mathcad for large models. I had been working on a large worksheet for a bit after upgrading to Mathcad 12 when I realized that the scrolling was as responsive as any Microsoft Word document – very smooth with no noticeable lag up to any reasonable scroll rate!  That was not one of the explicitly stated new features in Mathcad 12 – so I didn’t notice it immediately (sometimes you don’t notice the things that just work the way you’d expect them to work).  I really appreciate some of the other enhancements in the Prime 12 release like Find/Replace with subscripted variables (another large worksheet issue) and the enhancements for native plots, but the scrolling improvement ranks near the top!

Inconsistent baseline selection behavior:When creating a new Working Set, users have the option to add trackers with a specific baseline.However, when updating an existing Working Set by adding new trackers, the option to select a baseline is not available.Providing the same baseline selection menu during updates would improve usability; otherwise, users must manually select a baseline for each tracker, which is time‑consuming.2. Baseline selection is lost when navigating back:After users select trackers with a specific baseline and move to the next step, a summary of the selections is displayed.If the user goes back to the previous step, the tool resets all baseline selections to HEAD.As a result, users must again manually reselect the required baseline for each tracker, causing unnecessary repetition and frustration.

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.2.14 When we create the Implementation Plan for our Change Notices, our Change Admins manually prepend the number of the CN to the Change Task Name field for the convenience of our users (when looking at their My Tasks tables). We would like to automate this process since it is time consuming for the admins. I have attempted to write code to do this automatically, but it seems that the API does not allow this after the object is persisted. I would like to understand why this is possible manually but does not appear to work programmatically. I see the Name field in the CA Master table but don't see an alternate "name" in the CA iteration table. I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.1 and Datecode with CPS M020-CPS25 Our Windchill instance is 11.1 M020 and I have attempted to install the security patch CPS36. The install of the patch failed. Does a stream entry timestamp represent the moment of AddStreamEntry service execution or the moment the stream entry is processed ?

By default, the UN Hole Sizes in Creo 10 go up to 1½ - 6.  We deal with larger holes quite often.  How can this be changed so that UN Hole Size options are available up to 2 ½?Thank you!

Software: Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 19.0Goal: I am looking for a way to automatically rename all components (parts and assemblies) within a specific top-level assembly using a sequential naming convention (e.g., PART-001, PART-002, PART-003...).Details: Doing this manually in the Structure Browser is extremely time-consuming for large assemblies. I would like to find a solution (either a built-in command or a LISP script) that allows me to: Select a Parent Assembly. Define a Prefix (e.g., "MYSYSTEM-"). Automatically apply a three-digit increment (001, 002...) to all children. Questions: Is there a hidden command in the standard UI that supports "Prefix + Increment" renaming? If not, does anyone have a LISP macro or utility that can automate this task? Are there any "Best Practices" to avoid naming conflicts when doing this in a large session? The migration appears to have severely corrupted all posts containing embedded images. These images are now often only available and displayed in a reduced size and no longer enlarge when clicked.In principle, however, Gainsight does offer this feature, where images are stored in a larger format displayed in smaller size and then enlarge to full size when clicked.So the problem here isn’t that Gainsight is inferior, but rather an issue caused by an improper migration.My suspicion is that during the migration, only the smaller resized image files that Khoros used for display in the thread were transferred, and not the original image files in their original size.As long as the data from the old Khoros forum is still available, you should urgently save the larger images and attach them to the posts in Gainsight the correct way so that they can be displayed there in a reasonably readable (original) size when clicked.There are many threads and posts where the response consisted solely of sc

Weld symbol for ISO standard in Creo 12.4 is supporting ISO2553:1984, acc to PTC Help and the PTC articles CS465068 & CS303110.This creates huge problems for companies that must be certified against ISO 3834-2. Which is applicable for example for companies with in the nuclear power industry. This companies are now forced to either create new custom symbols, (Which is quite complicated) or to make “fake” the symbols on the drawing adding lines and text manually.I suggest that the weld ISO weld symbols are updated acc. to latest ISO 2553 standard, that would be the one from 2019, Edition 5.

With version 20.8 I cannot access anymore the remote license Server status using http://<Remote License Server>:17171. Logged to the server http://localhost:17171 works as expected.Il there any workaround or some administration command to use?

I accidentally created a new version of a part's model and drawings. I want to delete the files for this new part, but the operation keeps failing. What is the cause, and how can I resolve this?
