When attempting to export using the “Convert to PDF” function with a custom template, the generated PDF contains no data. According to the PTC team, this is a long-standing known limitation, and there are currently no plans to change this behavior. They confirmed that when exporting to Word without selecting “Convert to PDF,” the Table of Contents appears correctly. However, when the “Convert to PDF” option is used, the PDF export does not include the Table of Contents due to this limitation. Hi all,I’m working on a Word export report in Codebeamer 3.2 where I want to list Requirements together with their linked Test Cases.The requirement from the report user is that the Test Cases associated with each Requirement must appear in the same sequence/order as in the Test Case tracker outline (i.e. respecting the tracker’s hierarchy/ordering).However, this order is not respected in the join when I export to Word. The joined Test Cases appear in a different sequence(issue ID desc) and I haven’t found a way to enforce the tracker outline order.What I have tried so far:Custom field for sequence numberI created a custom field on the Test Case tracker intended to store the sequence/index from the tracker outline and then use that field for sorting.The problem is that this would require a custom API/script to populate and maintain the sequence values, since a computed field does not seem to have access to the item’s position in the tracker outline.Including the outline in the second q

I found this previous post on this topic: Solved: Re: Delete choice field options permanently in cod... - PTC Community I understand this is by design but the functionality is frustrating for a couple of reasons: 1. Deleted choices become obsolete but still appear as an option in filtering, confusing users.2. Choice field options are automatically created on import so if the original import is not perfectly formatted, new choice field options are now locked into the tracker permanently. If there's no way to allow us to permanently delete these choices (without deleting and re-creating the field), there should be additional work arounds to at least hide these options from users and permanently lock the field down to avoid accidental creation of new choices upon imports.

Hi everyone,I recently submitted an idea to add a Convex Hull creation feature.   In geometry, a Convex Hull is the smallest convex shape that fully contains a given set of points or geometry. It can be imagined like a rubber band stretched around the outermost points. If you have ideas for how Convex Hull could be useful in your workflows, please comment on the idea and share your use cases. This will really help show the need for implementing it. I am trying to load an external website inside a Web Frame widget in a ThingWorx Mashup.I added the  URL in the URL property of the Web Frame widget: However, when I open the mashup, the page does not load and the widget appears blank.What I have already checked:The URL works correctly when opened directly in the browser.The Mashup loads successfully in ThingWorxThe URL is added correctly in the Web Frame widget properties.Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, in an assembly "A" I have a lot of this parts "B" (lets say 100). When I modify another subassembly "C" (or parts "D") of the assembly "A", It takes a lot of time to regenerate the 3D model "A", and in the left bottom of the screen it plot these messages"Relations have errors/warnings. Refer to the message log for the details or visit relation UI.A - assembly A - regeneration completed with 94 suppressed feature(s) or component(s).Part 'B' not changed since last regen".I think it is a tentative to regenerate parts that are not in checkout and takes a lot of time to do this tentative.How can I fix this problem? Thank you in advanced. Michele Barile

I'm reinstalling this in a new personal laptop, but the license server at PTC is giving an error: (403) Forbidden. I was under the impression that I had a permanent license even as a migrate to upgraded computers. Please advise.

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 13.0 and Datecode with CPS 13.0.2.6I have several Workflows where I use system print statements for debugging purposes. Here is an example: System.out.println("+++++++"); In Windchill 12 this statement appears in the Background logs, not 13. Is there a switch to turn logging on in 13?The history is "System.out.println" commands would be recorded in the Windchill logs for every version before Windchill 13.0. I do not see the logging anywhere for this output. Perhaps there is a switch in 13.0 that we are not aware of to direct system printing to the logs instead of some bit bucket.

Hello everyone,CREO Parametric 11.0.2.0 here. I am attempting to superimpose my companies automation system onto a provided floorplan. I have converted the floorplan I got into a .drw. My most recent (fruitless) attempt involved creating a drawing with the model and perspective that I would like, and then copying and pasting that into the floorplan .drw. This fails every time because it identifies a mismatch in the units. I have attempted to change the units of the model before pasting into the floorplan to no avail, so I am not exactly sure what it is that I am missing. I am also not able to identify the units that the provided floorplan are in using the creo software, and when measured, it returns some nonsense number that indicates to me that it was scaled down before I got it... Ultimately there are several independent sections of our system that I would like to make this compilation out of, so whatever the solution is, it would be nice if it was easily repeatable.Thank you for you

I am trying to modify the crosshatching in a part drawing section.  After selecting the area, the  "edit hatching" menu appears, but is greyed out.  Any suggestions?

In Creo 9.0.10.0, creating circular bends or crimps with varying thickness is often a bit clunky, as it requires cutting material and then re-adding the crimp or bend feature, usually as a revolve or sweep. I’m looking for a simpler, more efficient way to do this, similar to how Sheet Metal bends work, where bends can be suppressed in a simplified representation at the part level. This would be especially useful for parts that currently use family tables or flexible modeling. I’ve looked into the X-Section Property Control options in the Spinal Bend feature, but I’m not sure if any of those settings can be used for multi-directional bending. Specifically, can things like moments of inertia or centroid coordinates allow a bend towards the center of an axis or csys. I'm hoping to find another method that can directly apply the deformation like a bend to the existing length of material without cutting out features. Any advice from the community on using Warp, Spinal Bend, or other command

How can I get MathCad to update my MathCad 14 license? I installed a new internal hard disk drive.  It has a different MAC Address.  Consequently MathCad will not open and run. I need a set of  step by step instructions to get and install a new MathCad 14 License.

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: User A changed the state of an object (version 1.7) from released to inactive, Then checked it out and made version 1.8 and set the state to released. User B does not have any access to see inactive objects. They had version 1.7 in their workspace before the change. When trying to add version 1.8 the received an error say that 1.8 could not be add because 1.7 was inaccessible.Description: I was able to go into the users workspace as admin and remove the inactive 1.7 version which resolved the issue, but I was not able to change the state of that older iteration as the set state option was missing from the menu.Is there a way to allow the user to update an older version in their workspace that is at a state they do not have access to? Or is there a way to change the state of the previous 1.7 iteration back to a readable state for all users?

I have a character replace function.  I would like to use it to replace a string with a string.  If the user inputted duplicate "OR's" then I want the function to thin out "OR OR" to just "OR". Thanks in advance

I can complete all aspects of processing a model into a machined part except the output file needed for my machine. I have simple 3 axis proto tack SMX controller that needs a .gcd file output. I can only save and view my CL data into an .ncl format. W use Creo 10.0.3.0. Any assistance with post processors?

Is there a way we can do that. Typically that is available on the project status table for part & docs but is there a way we can get that on the folder tables in projects. 

I am having issues with opening a CATPART file on CREO. When I open the file, I am getting some import errors and cannot see any of the geometry of the part. If I edit the definition of the data import I can then see the part surfaces but the import will fail to regenerate if I click OK.  I cannot add the data as surfaces (greyed out on Import As tab), only as bodies so it may have something to do with how it is saved in Catia. I have tried correcting issues in IDD but cannot afford to spend as much time correcting issues with every import. Can Import settings be adjusted to allow the data to be imported as a quilt/surfaces? I am using CREO 9.0.8.0

Hello Community,I am facing multiple issues while trying to install and configure KInstallation Failure:When I try to install after uninstalling, the installation fails with Error 1638: Another version of this product is already installed.I tried uninstalling completely, but it seems some remnants are preventing reinstallation.Password/User Issue:I forgot the pas.I tried looking in UserInfo5.xml and other configuration files, but the options to reset the password are missing or invalid.Right-clicking on OPC UA Config in the taskbar shows errors related to XML or missing configuration.Current Goal:I want to completely uninstall and reinstall it fresh.I also want to reset the password so I can access OPC UA configuration.Has anyone faced similar issues? Could you please guide me on:How to fully remove k and all related files/registry entries.How to reset the password safely without losing configuration.Any tips to avoid Error 1638 during reinstall.Thank you in advance for your help.
