I’m excited to share that my talk abstract has been accepted for the 2025 PTC/User Summit! In my session, I hope to celebrate the amazing power of Creo, while addressing areas where it could be fixed. It will be fun and engaging as I will demo Creo. I already have my list, and wonder yours:
What do you love about Creo?
What do you wish they’d fix?
Thank you for your help, I’ll incorporate them into my talk.

Session Review: 10 Things I Love About Creo, and 10 Things I Wish They’d Fix
My session at the 2025 PTC/User Summit was a fantastic experience! The room was packed, and the energy was high from the start. I provided a QR code at the beginning, allowing attendees to submit their own ideas in real-time, which made the session even more interactive.
One of the biggest takeaways was clear - Creo must continue improving its usability. This was reinforced by a powerful moment when I asked how many people had encountered the same Easter eggs, and nearly every hand in the room went up. It was one of those shared experiences that brought the audience together in a mix of laughter and recognition.
PTC representatives were front and center, actively engaged, taking pictures of both the slides and the audience as they raised their hands. That level of attention gives me real confidence that some of these long-standing issues might finally be addressed.
After the session, many attendees came up to me, expressing how much they appreciated the talk and how fun it was. Several even shared new ideas. Both things they love about Creo and things they hope PTC will fix in the future.
Overall, it was an amazing discussion, and I’m excited to see how these ideas shape the future of Creo!

To be able to switch row order in family tables similarly to columns.
When highlighting a cell in a family table, the header of the row and column would be highlighted to better be able to tell where you are at.
Freeze/split so that the first several column or rows are always seen.

Thank Michael for presenting! Putting in positives and negatives makes for a good presentation! I certainly would have like to have been there to have seen that.
Following my talk I was contacted by the product manager responsible for family tables, parameters, and relations. I’ve shared the feedback I’ve gathered on this topic, but I also want to give him the opportunity to put together a focus group with those interested in discussing how best to update these legacy features.
If you’re interested, let me know via private message, and I’ll set up a call and list.
