Windchill Tips

Many moving pieces in the Creo Parametric Automation Space…Automation of CAD designs and documentation is becoming a VERY HOT subject.  But there is a right and wrong way to do this.  Best advice - always focus on the data. How does it come in? What purpose does it serve? Where does it need to go? What happens when it gets there?  etc…   These are core to good automation with Creo Parametric - and control of that data and flow through the environment is the key to acceleration.  We have been doing this a long time, and have built our tools around this core concept of “data flow” to leverage what Creo Parametric does well, and overcome limitations with the automation of data and process to leverage it.So a few updates regarding some updates and new things at Simplified Logic, Inc.Creo Parametric Tools Update (Creo 8-12 officially supported)Nitro-CELL - Creo Automation / Excel Interface Nitro-BOM - Creo Bill of Materials / Excel Interface  Nitro-PROGRAM  - Graphical Pro/PROGRAM Editor CR

Windchill can display menu items / table headings / actions, etc. in several languages. Each user can decide at any time which to display from those installed.   Windchill can display menu items / table headings / actions, etc. in several languages. Each user can decide at any time which to display from those installed.   This example has only one language installed in addition to English – French. Install         Every Windchill file that are used to display English words now has an additional similar file with the language (fr for French in this example).       Because these exist, each user can select their desired language (of those installed) at any time.   Default English:     Each user has this choice (list will include those language(s) which have been installed). Does not affect any other user. By moving English back to the top, it will revert to English at any time.             A
