Hi all.Is there a way in Creo 9 on a drawing to move both witness lines for dimension together?  Sometimes I would like the gap closer or farther away on one specific dimension and I end up moving both independently and just eyeballing to make them about the same side-to-side.The only workaround I’ve found is to add a dummy dimension and use control to select that and my real dimension together then move one witness line and they all 4 move together.  The go back and delete the dummy dimension.I’ve seen the how-to’s on the PTC site and other users descriptions, like selecting the dimension and the drawing view using ctrl but that never works for me!Thanks in advance!Brad

I'm using Creo Parametric 11.0.4.0. When I do File > Save As > Save a Copy and pick Creo View (*.pvz), the export fails and the message bar says "Creo View recipe file(proepview.pvr) can not be found." Here's what I've tried so far.In the Options dialog I left the three recipe fields blank and I saved the profile to confirm they really were empty.I looked in the config.pro and config.sup in Common Files and didn't see anything about recipes or Creo View. I also couldn't find intf_pv_recipe_dir or intf_out_pvs_recipe_file in the Configuration Editor, even though older posts mention them. When I searched my install, I found proepview.pvr in Common Files\applications\cvadapters\prodview\recipe, and export_pvs.rcp in Common Files\text\prodview. An older post here said they should be in the same folder, so I copied proepview.pvr into text\prodview. I also pointed export_profiles_creoview at that folder, restarted Creo, and tried again, but I still get the same error.Does anyone know w

Hello all,I am curious if anyone has made the move from Wiris’s MathFlow for Arbortext to Wiris’s MathType for XML Editors in Arbortext successfully. If so, were any problems encountered in your transition? Is there anything not covered in the MathType documentation that you found helpful to know? If your workflow involves publishing XML to PDF, are you able to print math with MathType installed? If so, which print engine do you use in Arbortext?My organization has encountered some roadblocks with this transition, and I am curious if anyone else has made it succesfully.Thank you

I am using Windchill Foundation & PDM Release 2.1 and Datecode with CPS 99040912 NARAE NANOTECH CORPORATION(276604)/김재연/010-4824-3384/안녕하세요. 새로 만들기로 만든 prt파일이 체크인이 안됩니다. 부품 prt파일을 다른 사용자가 소유하고 있어 체크인이 불가능하다고 합니다. 확인 결과 다른 경로에는 파일이 없고 사용자 PC에서 사이트에서 windchill을 접속할 경우 다른 사용자 계정이 로그인되어있는 상황입니다. 하여 현재 백업저장 후 작업공간에서 삭제하고 백업 파일 불러와서 다른이름으로 다시 체크인 시도하라고 요청한 상태입니다. 다른 해결방법이 있다면 제시 부탁드립니다. 체크인 오류 문구 사진 첨부 드리니 참고 부탁드립니다.

When I open the installer for my free trial and get to the application selection screen there are no applications to select and I cannot click next. I’ve seen this posted in the past but none of the solutions are working fore me. Any help is appreciated. 

Is there a way to adjust (or slide) the Datum along its extension line on a Creo drawing? I remember you used to be able to do that but it seems that’s no longer the case. Please see attachment.

If the customer has asked an question that, why those are not loaded. what to answer them ? Hi Creo Community, I am trying to use Creo Trial via PTC and am having issues installing it on my machine (Windows 11), and I would like to see if anyone has had the same issue, and if so, could let me know what fixed it for them. After calling PTC support, they have said they don’t help with Creo Trial issues and that I should ask community.ptc.com for help even if I have a past customer number with PTC.The issue: I am able to download the file “Creo Parametric 13.4.0.0 CloudPlay” (2.5MB) from the Trial page, but when I try to install using this .exe I either get to the Creo Parametric splash screen and it hangs for hours or the splash screen disappears and the .exe file auto-deletes itself from my Windows Explorer “Downloads” folder.I have tried turning off the Windows Defender Firewall and running the .exe file as an administration, but the issues seem mostly the same. If anyone has be able to get through similar issues, please let me know, thank you

I am using Windchill Risk and Reliability Enterprise Edition (Formerly Relex) Release 11.1 and Datecode with CPS CPS02 We run the Enterprise Edition on a server. We no longer have a dedicated IT application person on staff so we've lost our application expertise. The issue I'm having is with a project backup. I'm able to select the project I want to backup, go through the backup steps and get the message that the backup completed successfully. But, we can't find the backup file. It's not stored locally on my PC and our IT person wasn't able to locate it on the server. Knowing where the backup file would be saved, the file name and extension would help with the search. Here are the errors that I faced No error messages.

I’m trying to replace a 3x3x3/16 steel square tube with a 3x3x.25 aluminum tube.  In 3 positions the switch worked.  The other positions will ‘churn’ and then not update the filename and the OK will stay greyed out.  What is happening and is there something i can do? Only 3 positions were updatedYou can see that it won’t update the filename.  I’ve switched from steel to alum.The message log says that its been regenerated but that's not the case

I am using Windchill Risk and Reliability Enterprise Edition (Formerly Relex) Release 11.1 and Datecode with CPS02 to perform Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) calculations on circuit board assemblies.I’m using 217Plus to perform the calculations along with a custom Mission Profile.  When I run the calculations the Process Grade file seems to be used for regular Failure Rate and MTBF but not for the Mission Profile.  The Mission Profile Failure Rate and MTBF never changes no matter how drastically I change the Process Grade file.I’ve been through all the Google AI suggestions but nothing works or it’s telling me to change things that don’t exist.I’m stuck.

In some case they need to see all the detail. Simplified Design need to have the same value as Detailed Design attributes (Mass, Volume, Center of Mass,...) Volume of simplified part CAD need to have the same position as Detailed CAD for the Structure Visualization of the Parent.Concept : Use Configuration filter to choose between multi-level BOM without or with detail, default filter is the simplified view. Background: I’m working on a requirement to filter all Product and Library containers in an Organization based on the template they were created from. So I need to read the template associated with each container.Has anyone successfully retrieved template information for Product or Library containers without hitting this recursion issue or any recommended API for this job? What I’ve tried so far: ContainerTemplateService.getContainerTemplate(...) I attempted calling the getContainerTemplate API using both the container’s own reference and the OrgContainer reference. In all cases, the method consistently returns null, even for containers that I know were created from a template. WTContainer.getContainerTemplateReference().getName() This API does return a template name when called once, but any further processing (such as checking startsWith(...)) triggers a runtime failure:java.lang.StackOverflowError    at wt.method.RemoteMethodServer.invoke    at wt.fc.CachedObjectReference.inflate

In the BOM Transfer window, under "Made from Part Usage Link", only the Semi-Finished and Mounting categories are available in the Link Category field.  The Raw Material category is not displayed as an available option.  Could you please confirm whether it is possible to enable or use the Raw Material category?
