The following Mathcad code attempts to use a formula from Wikipedia to expand cos(n*z), but appears to get the wrong result. Comments? Mathcad code implementing expansion formula

 We are currently running Windchill 12.0.2.25 and are planning a migration to Windchill+ 13.1.3, so we are looking for an approach that will work well in both environments.We have a requirement to rank Manufacturer Parts (MPNs) associated with OEM parts as follows:Rank 1 = Approved for Primary Build BOM Rank 2 = Approved for Secondary Build BOM Blank = No restriction; can be used in either buildThe challenge is that the ranking is assembly-specific, not a property of the Manufacturer Part itself.For example:Assembly-AMPN-A = Rank 1 MPN-B = Rank 2Assembly-BMPN-A = Rank 2 MPN-B = Rank 1Because of this:The rank cannot reside on the Manufacturer Part, since the same MPN may have different rankings depending on the assembly where it is used. OK, a weird one..2 issues: 1st issue is that my Creo 9 has decided to open in a minimized state.  Nothing changed on my end, except a recent windows update.  Now I get a very small Creo window, when I used to get an almost maximized window.  all settings are as they were the week before 2nd issue is that when I open a drawing, I get a blank sidebar, a 2nd blank ‘model tree’.  There is nothing in it, and no top bar to close or anything.  it’s just a blank ‘sidebar.  And it covers content.. And it’s only with .DRW files.. The work-around is to close Creo, then restart it / open it again.  Creo then starts up in a nearly full window, and teh blank sidebar is gone. any ideas?

PrimeConnect is also by request now a python library that connects python engineering applications with PTC Mathcad Prime. It allows python programs to generate editable Prime worksheets,  and retrieve Mathcad calculated results as native python and numpy objects.What is still needed is a brief manual on how to use it, but it is simple.CheersTerry

Could you please share the port issue solution?   Here is my setup: Cleco Controller mPro200 - Open Protocol - Port 9002 - Activated Cleco Controller mPro200 - TorqueNet- Port 12345 - Activated Cleco Controller mPro200 id : 192.168.50.20 KepServerEx - Channel:TorqueToolEthernet - Device:Cleco (Open Protocol - 192.168.50.20 - Port: 9002)   Both the controller and the port can be ping successfully from the PC.   However, none of the tags receives information from Cleco. Since the support for Adobe Experience Manager is being deprecated I’m looking at the workflows dependant on PDF publishing with AEM. I had a look at the free trial of the WEX coversheets extension and it’s fine but I’d need to make a few changes before it would be a drop-in replacement for the coversheet generation customisation we have with AEM currently. Has anyone found any alternatives? At the moment AEM converts html files to PDF and merges them with a PDF of the primary content to create the PDF representation file, the primary content can be any office file. AEM does this via a SOAP webservice which you can inspect via it’s WSDL and it seems AEM has far more capabilities than Windchill actually needs so I’m wondering whether to try replacing it with a service that does the html/PDF conversion and merging with a simpler app based on plain java HttpServer and openhtmltopdf? I ran TCPMON to capture the requests and responses between Windchill and the AEM Assembler Service and it s

Hello,We are experiencing unexpected behavior with Arbortext Editor 7.1 regarding the encoding of SGML files.Issue description:1. We open an existing SGML file in Arbortext Editor.2. The file encoding is ANSI Windows-1252 (verified using Notepad++).3. After opening the file in Arbortext Editor and saving it (even without any content changes), the file encoding is automatically changed.4.
