We have a Kafka instance that utilizes Kerberos for authentication, and I want to set up an IOT Stream to push property data to it. I am successfully using Kerberos auth for a database connection from my Thingworx server (RHEL, Thingworx v10.1.1).  Do the Queue Providers support Kerberos authentication at this point?The Help Center documentation doesn’t provide much guidance on what values I should use in the Configuration of my Queue Provider.  It also seems like the only authentication available is username/password-based.  After some research I tried using “SASL_SSL” for Security Protocol and “GSSAPI” for SASL Mechanism, but I get this error: Save failed: Failed to connect to [MyQP]. Nonpaged Memory increase over timeI have trouble with linearly increasing “Nonpaged memory” allocation. I inspect the memory allocation with RAMMap. Our machines server system keeps getting slower and slower, so we started investigating.The picture above shows it: “Nonpaged memory” started at 776,088 KB after rebooting the HyperV. After that, it increased up by 5 GB in total.Our setup is:HyperV with Windows Server 2019; Host is Windows Server 2022.  On the HyperV: KEPServerEX 6.15 / V6.15.154.0 Omron FINS Ethernet (16 devices; CJ2 PLCs) Siemens TCP/IP Ethernet (1 device; S7-300) OPC UA Server as the connector to our SCADA system (Running on the same HyperV) In the second table, you can see that the memory allocation stops growing once I turn off Kepserver. There is one section where the memory doesnt grow even though the Omron acquisition is running. I think that in that case the time period is too short. Questions:Did you ever face a similar issue? Hi. I want to use my s7 1500 as an OPC UA client over online connection. I am able to browse all OPC UA server tags, but I still can’t read the values. Note that I used OPC UA readlist instruction and the status is false for error, done or busy and the status itself shows 16#0070_0000.Please, assist me on what I might be doing wrong.

Is it possible to connect KepWare to a device that uses TCP socket communication? So, basically to send a command to the device (IP/port) and receive a string response?The device is Tettex 2293Command I’d like to send is ‘*IDN?’\r\nExpected response is a model and a serial number in a string.

We are having problems with two Kepware implementations reading differently.  Here are the specifics:  We have one server that has KepServerEX 6.  It reads one of our PLCs well; no problems.  We also have a new server with Kepware Server 7.  This implementation will not read from the exact same PLC.  It’s showing Bad in the OPC quick client.  Has anyone seen this before?

Hello! I’m trying to make a simple cable harness 2 wires going from connector 1 to connector 2.There are 2 coordinate systems in each connector that I have made.On my drawing i’m trying to use repeat regions to display which port in the connector each wire should connect to. However no pin no. gets displayed, it doesn’t matter if I select the repeat region to be driven by the assembly or the connector part.I’m using &harn.run.cond.from.pin.entry_port and have tried a bunch of others but it remains blank regardless.I have tried creating Terminators inside the assembly but am unable to do anything besides create it? No editing or anything seems to be possible. I read some other posts where they supposedly add cabling parameters somehow? I don’t see how to do it.Any help to display pins on the drawing would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, In Creo 3 I was able to add a dimension to a 2d drawing and while the dimension was still highlighted red...I could change the font, color and size.  We then jumped to Creo 7, and it seems this no longer works. We are now on Creo 11, and it still doesn't work. I can change the font, and the size..but color does not stick if I just created the dimension. If the dimension is already existing, and i click on it….. i can change the color.  I want to change the color on the fly. I am trying to create a mapkey to do this, but i cannot get this color to change if I try to run the mapkey on the fly, after creating the dimension. (with the dimension still highlighted) If I run it on an already existing dimension, it works fine.What am i doing wrong? see recording   

Hello!I have a solid STEP file created by my supplier, that when imported into CREO is giving many errors like bad double-sided edges, solid node with open quilts etc etc. This causes the model to have quilts instead of one solid body.Depending in the import profile setting that I use I manage to get more or less errors, but almost never few enough to make it worth trying to repair the model. I feel like I have tried changing all relevant options in the import profile, but no combination seems to work.   The supplier has tried to send the model in different formats with different settings too, like STEP, x_t, x_p, exporting to prt.  Does anyone in this community have some good tips, or knowledge with Solidwors → Creo file sharing.(Unfortunately the model is under NDA so i cannot share it.) Thankful for any input you might have./David

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.2.18 Referencing to case: CS98538 I need a similar function in NX like for Catia or Creo to use Design Context functionallity. I know, that this is not supported for NX, but i need a way to load filterd CAD Data to NX. Filter used mostly from a Spatial Query. I would be fine when there is a workaround. Hello everybodyIt seems that the limit to constraint a conic arc is 4 points. I picked the start and end point and lay the arc as close to the 5 sketch points. Then i apply the constraints but it wont let me pick more than 4 unless i start making other dimensions References  like the Rho, etc.any ideas. i need to keep the Radius (Rh), so a Spline feature will not work and neither a Curve by points. i guess i can go back to Manufacturing and delete the rest of the sketcher points. thanks 

Hello,I have a customer with an older machine running KEPServerEX 5.0 who needs to transfer the software license to a new system.However, when attempting to use the license transfer process, an error occurs. We also noticed that the customer's Support & Maintenance expired around 2018. Even when trying to submit a support case, version 5.0 is not available as a selectable product, so we're unsure whether this is an expected limitation or a temporary issue.I have two questions:Q1. Does PTC still provide assistance for legacy products such as KEPServerEX 5.0, or is this likely just a temporary issue with the support portal?Q2. What is the recommended way to help the customer transfer the existing license? Is there still a process to transfer the license for an unsupported version? Or would the customer need to purchase Support & Maintenance again, or upgrade/purchase a new license? Any guidance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

I have a OPC UA server (on a siemens comfort panel) that I want to read in some tags on my Kepware Server 7.1.271.0 server. I’ve set up an OPC UA channel and device, and I’m able to perform automatic tag generation tasks (I’m able to see the tags I have configured over there). The problem is that when I then try to read Kepware’s tags from this, the tag quality is bad. Maybe about once a minute I get a message in the log that the OPC UA Client driver is reconnecting due to connection loss- which sometimes, but not always corresponds to one momentary instance when the tag quality goes good and I’m able to read in the tags. The authentication is not using any security policy or message mode. I’m a bit flummoxed because I’m able to set up an Unified Automation OPC UA client that can read from the client just fine on the same machine as the Kepware server with the same settings. I did some debugging with Wireshark and saw that OPC traffic from that client to the panel was normal, while the
