Another serious issue with PDMLink......

Ok, I have a family table of fasteners, and want to use the symbol for diameter in one of the table string parameter columns (i.e. "diameter symbol 1.25"). I have the "Old School" chart we used to have to use that has the symbol in what I'm assuming is it's ASCII characters (i.e. the dia symbol is the test string: n). Well, everything seems fine and verifies ok and all.....then as soon as #$^#%^ing PDMLink touches it, it turns the diameter symbol (or any other) into: ¿n¿. Ok, since you do not get the symbol box popup when doing family tables, I tried going to each instance (total PITA) and going into the parameter manually and using the popup symbols box to add the symbol. Regerated and verified fine. Even looked at the instances and all was well. Checked it in again......and it's right back to the "¿n¿" crap!!! Anyone else see this kind of stuff?
