Automated import/export familytable with PRO/PROGRAM or Creo TOOLKIT?

Dear community,

 

I created a family table for a model and I would like to edit the dimension value from other analysis results.
Because it is easier to be edited, the family table should be in .txt format.
If the text family table is automatically imported/exported to Creo, it is a great help to us.

 

Is it possible to do with PRO/PROGRAM or Creo TOOLKIT?

Probably not possible with Pro/PROGRAM

Probably possible with Creo TOOLKIT

 

But did you consider using MS-Excel to edit your family tables?

    Thank you for your advice.
    Unfortunately a machine on which I would like to run the process doesn't have MS office.

    If license cost for MS Office is the issue then your could try Calc, which is a part of the LibreOffice suite, which supports open/save to Excel format:
