Best practices for importing and exporting 3D models

Working with imports and exports of 3D models, I believe that it is not constant mathematics since it will depend a lot on the model and the source software, but I would argue that it is necessary to have a base of best practices for this
Does anyone have any kind of document on best practices for importing and exporting 3D models in Creo?
