Bringing new life to old technical drawings with Creo?
Im doing my bachelors thesis on experimenting if there are ways to bring old paper drawings back to parametric / customizable form?
Like scanning the paper, turning it to vector graphics and bringin it to Creo 2.0?
Any experience if thats possible etc?
Thanks and have a nice summer!

You may have some luck if you try converting the scanned file to DXF format any importing from there.

There was also module called AutobuildZ in Wildfire, which enabled you to import DXF drawing and then build 3D shape on it. I'm nut sure this module is still available in Creo.
