In choosing the points where I want my cable or wires to go from connector to connector don't I need to create entry ports on those connectors? In the PTC tutorial they say to select wire end points as entry ports. I just watched a You Tube video where the person selected just an axis line associated with the connector and they where not entry port with a coordinate system assigned. When he went to edit his cable end position he was able to move them by using the end point grip and move them any where along the axis line. So I guess my question is, do you really need to create entry ports with a coordinate system assigned to the entry ports or can you just create a point and use that or other geometry?
