Under Tools, Click on the binoculars.

You can also add Component ID as a column in the model tree. It's easy to do and is very useful.

Most of the time I do not need the ID. Only when I get the warning and need to find it in order to fix it. In this case (& I don't know why regenerating the assembly didn't work but) I needed to regenerate a subassembly pattern and the warning went away.
