Question

Converting NX into Creo and extracting to .prt file

Hello,

Right now we have a customer who is giving an NX file project, so we imported the model into creo and it was opened as an assembly and then I used IDD to clean it up. Now I need to extract one specific part as a (.prt file) since we will put it in CREO tool deisgn extension (which requires .prt file). I have tried (1) Copy/publish geometry however the part does not appear when I open it. I have tried (Shrinkwrap). however this option leaves holes in the surfaces. Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi

The assistance that you need requires access to the model.

I recommend either you share the NX model here or file a case for more security and confidentiality.

Alright, noted on this. I will make a case.

Thank you.
