Creo 1 Cutting capping surfaces

We recently upgraded to Creo 1 from Wildfire 4, our engineers have just got around to trying out Mechanica/Simulate and have come accross this bit of a show stopper. Cutting capping surfaces cannot be selected while looking at the results in deformed mode.
I found this on PTC.com from July last year.

I had a reply from PTC. It will be fixed in Creo 1 M050 and Creo 2 M020.
