Creo 4 - Use Datum Planes for Broken Views

I'm afraid that the answer is no...but can I use Datum Planes as the references for my Broken View?

Only as a visual reference when making the broken edges.  References are limited to edge lines of the part.

There is always more to learn in Creo.

Hi,

I think NO is the right answer ... perhaps because the reference must allow the view to be divided in both the vertical and horizontal directions.

Well, instead of planes, why not use datum points?  Those can be used as references for placing the split lines in a broken view (tried with Creo 4)
