I am sorry if this post is located in the wrong category. I could not find a specific area to discuss ECAD.
I am looking for information regarding Creo vs EBASE (Engineering Base from Aucotect).
I intend to launch an evaluation as the company currently use Ebase and want to create a custom integration with Windchill. The company already use Creo for all the mechanical parts (including assembly). You see the picture. You have the 3D models in Creo with the cubicals and all the connectors, then you use Ebase to create the circuit diagrams and define the BOM for the wires, cabling and crimps.
In preparation for the evaluation, I am trying to gather information in order to ensure I will be asking consultants, super users, IT the right questions.
Does anyone know of a forum to discuss this or have any info?
