Hi all, I have uploaded the part if anyone wants to have a look.
I was wondering if anyone could help or give some ideas on this. The model looks like it is almost correct. I have looked online and it appears there's many discussions about this.
Maybe it is just the pitch; maybe the start point is incorrect; maybe an angled plane needs to be added?
Apologies if this isn't a lot of information.
Thank you for any input you can give.

Here is how I interpret the grooves.
Creo 7.0 attached (sorry no 6.0 here)☹️
No model has been uploaded yet. What exactly do you think is not accurate in your geometry?
Hi, I think it errored out on the upload. I have had to zip it from the .prt file. Apologies.
What version of Creo are you using? Is it an educational license?
It is a business license, CREO 6.0.
Do you have other 2D views of this part? I do not think that all of the dimensions etc. are available in the view you posted above to define the oil grooves. The above view shows the grooves as hidden lines. If that is a section view then it looks to me like those grooves are on the OD of the part, not the ID. If it is not a section view, then it does not comply with any drafting standard I am familiar with.
If you have more reference material detailing the part, post it.
Yes, I know what you mean. These old drawings provides some interesting challenges 🙂

That would have taken me years. It's not super integral for the part to function but I wanted it done properly.
Definitely always more to learn. Thank you 🙂
