Hi,
I have a repeat region with some parameters based on a part, and I want to add a filter based on a parameter of that part, my Question is: Can I filter my repeat region with a parameter? In case that if I change the value of the parameter when I regenerate the part, the filter could automatically change and show a different result in my table.
I hope you can help me with that.
Thanks
I am not good at repeat regions but I wanted to welcome you to the forum.
I am sure you can add a logical parameter to a repeat region to have an entry evaluated, I just don't know how.
Have a look at this thread: http://communities.ptc.com/thread/35930
You could use the parameter to eliminate rows from a table where a value matches the value of a parameter using a filter.
I think you cannot use a parameter value as a way to select other parameters in the table. That is, if you have a parameter "Width" and another "Depth" you cannot have a parameter "Select" that can be used to define a column that switches between the other two.
