For CREO 10.0 parametric use, AMD GPUs compatibility

Hello.

I use CREO 10.0 parametric for the creation of large assmbly. (more than 800 parts and the 2D Drawing, Not simulation. only assembly and drawing. sometimes use AFX)

I would like to know AMD graphic card compatibility with creo 10.0.

Is compatibility good when using Radeon Pro W7600 or W6600? Or should I use Quadro?

PTC doesn't certified graphic cards individually but the AMD W6600 is certified on some systems.

I don't have any personal experience with AMD graphics cards.

It is clear from hp_creo10.pdf document that the AMD GPU platform is in the minority. The AMD CPU platform is not listed at all in the hp_creo10.pdf document.

Typically the Radeon series are considered gaming cards while the Quadro series are more professional for CAD and other work. Doesn't mean they won't work, just that if you do run into graphics issues, PTC will say it is the card and not offer much help.
